  1. Actually, I dont believe that. It takes too much effort to cut latex that thick. It's quite impossible.
  2. Look at this: A A: right, curved edge, thick, with knuckle indentions. just as we know it B: left, straight edge, thinner, less pronounced knuckle identions if at all This makes believe that there was a third version, a "straight edge" version and ll were constantly mixed up BUT: Can somebody tell if this image is flipped? If so, there's only a right "straight "edge Back to work!
  3. So.... any other members from Österreich?

  7. Unfortunatly, I didn't. Only German, a little English.....and Google Here's a pic fully weathered gloves ---- Ugly, aren't they? ----
  8. it's a fake. This must be a previously unknown promo pic. j/k of course. Beautiful!
  9. Tack så mycket, Mathias! Rich, is that the look you want to achieve?
  10. Thanks Stephen Actually, they will go for sale tomorrow. I only need to glue them onto the gloves. It will be a "replica" with additonal glue marks and a name tag ("Steve") inside
  11. Painted and weathered
  12. I just finished these: ---- Latex textile paint with authentic weathering + paint chiped on the edges (using finger nails) + paint cracks +smudges (graphite poweder from a pencil) +brush strokes +repainted areas What do you say?
  13. Well, it should, shoudnt it?
  14. Plenty of space there, for many, many types of paint I knew I chose the wrong word
  15. I thought so I suggest painting on the backside to test the various paints.
  16. a)The textile paint works well, I use something similar. Another possibility is latex based houshold paint. Should bond quite well c) acrrylic paint with a few drops of nail polish is another fine way. I guess all 3 methods were around in '77 And you can always weather the edges around the wrist yourself with some sandpaper. Karin
  17. When I designed my hand guards, I used this pic for reference. The top is a little more "curvy"
  18. well.... Han's right hand guards seems indeed a bit "flater" or straighter on the top. I agree with Paul that they're mirrored, but not perfectly. Would there be any interest if that asymmetry is replicated? Or would it look "ugly"? BTW: In the scene where they cuff Chewie, Hans has style 1 and the left and style 2 on the right hand... Karin
  19. Be sure to check the hand guards BEFORE you sew them on.... Nice build! keep up the goog work!! Karin
  20. AFAIK every maker makes them in black if you ask nicely....ATA and AM for sure.... Karin
  21. ....what he said,,,,
