  1. Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2,023 to all! A special hug for all those who have had a hard time this year, due to health problems or loss of loved ones...Life is like that. A roller coaster of emotions. Lots of strength, and may this 2.023, the force be with all of you.
Hi Hugo, welcome to FISD. Congratulations! We are happy that your Outpost is becoming more and more important! Of course, I strongly encourage you to apply for Expert(L2) and then for Centurion(L3). If you need help, you can ask us anything, that's what we are here for! You can start by sending us some pictures of your armor, and we can tell you what needs to be modified/corrected in your armor (if necessary)... Ask us as many questions as you want...And remember, a dumb question is only the one not asked....Believe it or not, we have all been at that point of "just approved" and we surely had the same doubts and even some more than you...Soon, you will be one more of the almost 600 Centurions around the world!
  3. Hi Ardeshir, and THANKS for your submission for TLJ First Order Executioner Stormtrooper EI! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Well Ardeshir, as always, an armor that could be exhibited in any museum...A real masterpiece. We will simply add a few small tips, that we are sure are easy for you to fix. -The forearms are hitting the hand plates. You can come up a little bit on those forearms, and it would be solved. Reference image - The under suit is very wrinkled in that area (although it is less visible in the new photos, as the light is "less direct", this small dressing issue can still be seen). Reference images Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. -Large gap between TD and backplate. In the photos of the disassembled TD, we can see the black "foam" on the internal part of the TD... Maybe with a thinner one, it will be solved. Reference images(Some of these reference photos are not specific to the Executioner, but are screenshots from TLJ. Same armor). - The calves seem too big, a lot of gap can be seen between the armor and the leg(pic. 1).. This is something we could see in your previous TLJ application(pic. 2), but it seems that in this case, it is a bit more evident... #1 Current app different angle #2 Previous TLJ app Previous TLJ-E app Reference images Congratulations Ardeshir. Another beautiful armor for your collection... It is a shame that since you have been previously approved with these particular costumes, no additional awards will be given. No doubt it deserves it... P.S..: No blasters held or holstered for TLJ-E so you should really remove those images from your app so there is no confusion for anyone following.
  4. Height = 177cm Weight = 53kg Wow Luca, now I understand why you can sit and do all that stuff you do with your armor on. I´m 185cm and 95kg (and 49 years old, my bones are like recycled ABS), almost can't even put on my helmet. Looking great, Luca!!! Thanks!!!
  5. @justjoseph63Do you ship to Spain? I have a helmet "likely" signed by Lucas...$300,000 I think would be a fair price...
  6. Hi Paul, and thank you for your CENTURION application! CRL and CENTURION Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of CENTURION. Congratulations Paul. You made it. You have your Centurion badge under your name... Now, enjoy your armor, and wear it with pride, as it is a spectacular armor. Congratulations again, sir. Don't forget to request the certificate HERE
  7. Hi Paul, and THANKS for your submission for ANH Stunt EI! First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the EXCELLENT job you did with this RS kit. As you will see below, these are all small details, which will not be a problem on your way to CENTURION. Starting from the helmet, for L3 the CRL states that: -Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them As can be seen, the left side is perfect, and the right side could be improved by rotating the ear a little bit...It is very little, and that is why we add it as a recommendation. We will only ask for it as a requirement for L3 if the ears are in an "ugly" position. Reference images -As seen in the reference image, we suggest you trim down the ends of the brow trim. Easy fix. Reference images -The posterior tab is pointing down which causes the snaps to show. Maybe you just forgot to connect the posterior snap to the cod. If you look at some other RS builds this can(should) be addressed. If the strap is indeed connected, you may have to trim a bit off of the return edges on the sides of the tab (second photo) to achieve this. Reference image Other RS builds -We recommend trimming the edge on both sides of the sniper knee. As you can see in the reference images, they were a little more "angled" and aligned with the "bottom edge"(and looks more screen-accurate). Reference images -The Rivet of the thigh ammunition belt could be a little more to the front, as shown the reference images. Not much to say here... -L3.Ear bars shall have only one bump painted in black (rank stripes). It seems that the light, when taking the photo, makes some strange effects. However, we can clearly see that the rank stripes are missing. . An easy paint job, Paul. Reference images -We believe that although it is very little, the gap could be reduced to zero in this area. Just adjust the shoulder elastic a little and it will be perfect! In addition, the undersuit seems to show through the bells area. It may be a dressing issue, or maybe you need a size down. Reference image -L3. No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. There are a couple of areas where some return edge can be seen. It will be a few seconds with a dremel, very easy!!! Reference image -Again it is very little, but we think you could raise the belt a little to make it 100x100 screen accurate.. I know you are thinking that it is so little that it seems ridiculous to be asked, but we assure you that people pay attention to this detail, and it is almost a sign that differentiates a CENTURION from the rest. You know, the Centurion level, it's all about the details. Reference images -We see a little gap in those joints. We are sure that if you tighten that belt a little more, it will be perfect. Reference images -The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. A small adjustment on the right side of the belt. Just trim a mm(or less) so that that bottom corner is just in line with the canvas belt. Reference images -There are some areas of the belt that need to go to the barbershop. Reference images -It looks like your calves are too tight, causing the ridges to overlap. Try "opening" the calves a little. If then, they are too loose, you can put a little foam inside, and thus avoid having to cut them. Reference images -Without any doubt you have one of the best blasters that can be seen around here(only the one built by Joseph for the auction beats it). However, although in some counters the brass could be seen, in this one it does not look like weathering. It is a perfect square. You may be able to paint it black and then rub a little before it dries completely, and thus give it the " weathered " look. Reference images That's all Paul. We would like to see your application for Centurion soon. We are sure that with the skills you have shown in assembling this RS kit, these small fixes will not be a problem for you.... Don't forget to request your Certificate HERE...
  8. Hi Paul. Your armor looks great. Congratulations. However, one thing we need you to correct before moving along, is the position of the TD plate, since for basic level, the CRL states that "The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap." Reference images We also need the following pics( added some examples): -Cod and posterior plate connections showing rivet/snaps (exterior) -Wrist openings (close-up). -Interior strapping - "Han" snap -Ammo pack rivet close up(interior) -Boots (showing tops and sides) Thanks Paul
  9. Hi Zaan , welcome to FISD. I love that armor...It's a pleasure to see it shining...
  10. Hello @justjoseph63. I think that helmet is from a hot toys (sideshow collectibles) figure, specifically for a 2009 comic-con exclusive figure. I found on Facebook someone who makes these interiors. You can take an eye on it, and see if it's what you're looking for. I will pass the info to you privately, and if you consider it is valid and can be shared with all members, you can post it here later.
  11. Of course. As Glen says ,yes you can still ask questions and continue your build here!
