Yeah you'll need to tidy up the buttons. Ideally they're not completely painted and show some white on the button itself.

Congratulations!

Welcome!
Looks like you're starting like so many of us did: "I want to be a Stormtrooper. Now what?"
To get it right, you'll be building the suit. The ready-to-wear "costumes" just are not the same quality, accuracy, etc. and really don't save you that much. Decide WHICH Stormtrooper you want to be. Old school original trilogy? Clone? First Order?
Also, let us know where you're based so we can help with local suppliers and you'll get answers from others in your area.
This community is FULL of helpful people ready to answer any and all questions for you. We've all been down this path.
It can be overwhelming, so ask LOTS of questions and we'll be glad to help you on your journey.

I thought about that as well. It's not easily reached when you're suited up, so whatever is in there would only be accessible before/after the troop. I glued mine on for security as I was also worried about wear over time and the cap falling off and everything coming out.
I'm going to play with some storage ideas in my chest/back instead.

Thanks!
I'll see what I can do about the cod rivet. Making it brassy will be fun. -
First troop today as a newly approved member of the 501st. We gathered at Oshawa ComicCon, just east of Toronto Ontario. I had a ton of fun making kids of all ages smile, testing out my armor, and getting into character ahead of the Toronto ComicCon next weekend.

Are the T strips on the blaster weathered? Could just be a trick of the light but they should be flat black with no weathering. That's all my amateur eye sees.
Nice job and good luck!

Welcome aboard! Go live your dream.

It's more the fan itself that makes the noise, even unmounted. I've got something cooking and I'll let you know how it turns out.
Thanks all for the input. -
Edited the title of my thread - Sorry if there was any confusion.
