  1. Yeah... I wasn’t able to fit the bells over them after I had put them on. Doing a Another go when my wife gets home and can help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah... I am aware. Realized I messed up as soon as I did it. I’ll fix it after Halloween. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Rapidly nearing completion. Test fit the top. It’s hard putting it on solo. Big lesson learned... put the biceps into the shoulder bells FIRST lol. Didn’t do that for the test, so it was uncomfortable and wonky, but everything seems to be coming along nicely. So close... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I think I goofed on the counter and put it in the wrong spot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Getting close to completion. All that is left is the garter system for the thighs and the pads in the helmet. Also the cod connector. And the hooks on the shins but I’ll do that after Halloween. Today I added Han loops to the biceps and connected the thigh ammo strip which went well. Not so well was the sniper knee plate. It shifted and is slightly off center. I might go back and readjust later if it’s too big a deal. Many thanks to Tony for his wonderful parts on the shoulder straps which saved me time and heartache. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks! Yep... have some gloss for the grip. The primer I used cane out rough in spots, but now that I look at it it makes it somewhat battle worn. I bought some hammer forged spray paint, but it was just too glossy. The effect would have been nice though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Work on the e11 continues... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Power cells on the right knee... ok to use glue for basic, yes? Actually, looks like the rivers might be less time consuming either way... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Are the biceps connected the the shoulder bells in a method other than the plastic loops? Do people do snaps on the insides? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Work has been slow. Actually non existent. Fly home from Iceland today. Got some great photos though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Good call. Should be able to clip the end, grind them down or sand them... I’ll figure it out somehow. Slipped my mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Alright! Inner cover strips dry and outer rear cover strips glued on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. A little more forward progress today. Thighs are done with inner cover strips on both sides. I added a cover strip to the inside of the shin today. Last piece to glue is the rear cover strips tomorrow and that should be it. All that’s left is rigging for the thighs, connectors for the shins, rigging for arms, chest to back plate and the inner lining of the helmet. Almost there... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I’m jelly. Great job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Wait... what? TLJ sold for 100k more than an original ANH bucket? Seriously??? Great reference pics for that E11. Those pics need to be saved and stickied. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Work is winding down and I’m finding less to do. Got the rear cover strips on and am now adding an inner cover strip to the front. I’ll add inner to the rear as well and on the shin. Don’t think the biceps and forearms need it quite as much. Also put a coat of primer on my e11. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Haha! Good catch. Thanks... it was kind of a spur of the moment let’s see if I can get this thing working type of deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Testing the internal strapping. Kind of exciting. I do see why snaps are preferred. I need longer velro straps in for attaching in some places. I might add a few snaps on the front at some point.
  19. Anyone with experience with industrial strength Velcro: Is the stick on both sides strong enough that when I put them together back to back they’ll hold, or should I add some e6000? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Just emailed my GML. I'm good to go with 40mm cover strips on the shin backside for basic. He said to try and match the thigh coverstrips, which will be nice as it means I can give my thighs a little more space.
  21. Totally need pics of you playing with the dolls... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Lesson learned... drill holes BEFORE hot bath soaking and placing on the end caps. Not after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I’ll try to get one. I do have another question for everyone though. Are the biceps only held up by the plastic hook? Or is there another method I am not seeing? Do they get attached to the shoulder bell? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. The longer lip goes on the inseam, no? These shins are crazy, lol. So much confusion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
