....I've got this one, It says it's uni directional: --------
-
..well I took some paint caps, filled them with "greatstuff" expanding foam and mounted them behind my speakers and.... ...it's exactly the same as it was before....DOH!!! Any other ideas?
-
..I taped some foam on the back of the speakers on the inside of the helmet and it did nothing...I guess Ill have to try something denser...
-
..so I need to do the spray cap/great stuff mod even though the speakers are on the outside of the bucket?
-
..maybe you guys can help me here...I have suertroopers speakers mounted inside of stompers mic tips..wired parallel ( I think..speaker 1 wired red to black of speaker 2 then to amp etc..tried them wired red to red and that seemed worse both volume/feedback wise)..a radio shack amp ( the little white one) and the radio shack powered mic ( I tried the resistor mod to not use a powered mic, but it seemed to cut the total volume available alot)..my helmet is a ANHV2..I get some pretty bad feedback if I raise the volume on the amp above about 3/4 total volume...is this normal? I have read about the great stuff/cap mod, but I am not sure if this is ness/aplicable since the speakers are actually mounted on the OUTSIDE of the bucket...any suggestions? I can post pics later if that would help...

..I just found this thread!!! Just what I need...honestly, the fit of my chest has been bumming me out to no end recently..I too am big (6'4"- 240lbs) and my FX chest looks ridiculous to me..to the point that I have been doing all my trooping as a Tie Pilot...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make these available!!!! I know I am not the only big guy who has been waiting for something like this!...

..looks about the same as mine..my left thigh even sits higher like yours! You'll be supprised how much the drop boxes make the gap less noticable..as far as the webbing goes, it looks fine to me!

..I have been working like crazy on getting my Tie Pilot done for Comic Con..since there is no canon blaster for Tie Pilots, I decided I would use my E-11 from my TK..only problem was, my left handed holster was rivited to my belt ..I wanted to leave it rivited to remain canon on my TK, but I also wanted to be able to use it on my TI...heres what I came up with: I removed the rivits holding my holster to my TK belt, and replaced them with snaps..I used a piece of ABS with two snaps installed and rivited it to my TK belt.so it still looks rivited from the outside: Then I made two belt loops out of some strapping I found ( I think its off a old motorcycle seat, but an old belt would work too) and put two snaps in them..since there is no canon TI holster accuracy isn't a factor, but I don't want to walk around unarmed! ..now I can switch my holster and blaster between costumes! It's like getting a holster and blaster for free!

LOOKS GREAT!!!!..a couple of suggestions.. the left thigh on FX kits looks a bit barrelish unless you tighten the bottom a bit..get some movie acuratte ab buttons ( or at least paint those)..and maybe fill the ab/back side gaps..if your helmet comes out as nice as your armor, its gonna look awesome! good job!
-
..thanks for all your hard work in making this the best board out there! Good luck in the new job and welcome Ed!
