  1. I am a member of the WWIIHRS. world war 2 historical reenactment society. The units that are around here in Minnesota that I reenact with are the 2nd SS and the 101 airborne. I was doing this before finding the 501st came in handy doing german side being I already had the boots. LOL. Have you looked up the HRS I believe there are a few out Washington and a whole bunch in California. On place to check is a supplier At the Front. www.atthefront.com has links there to a bunch of units. Any questions hit me up. Mike
  2. BTW Thanks for all the information. This is great board.
  3. OK Not to open a can of worms here. I am looking for some thoughts on SIZE and SIZE only. I am getting ready to order armour set. What I am looking for and have narrowed the search down to is 2 different sets. Price is close to the same on the sets, material is also the same what I am wondering is for a guy 5 foot 11 inch and 190 lb, what would be the best size wise, AP or RT-MOD ? Now I don't want debate on the accuracy or all that I am looking on veiws for comfort ( as comfortable as armour can be. LOL< kind of like military intelegence. hehe) Thanks Mike
  4. WOW these are some nice shots people. Yes I fell in love with the TK as soon as they balsted the door on the Tantive IV. But there is always something about the well worn, I live in this suit look of the TD. If it goes like most of you make it souns I have a feeling I will be purchasing multiple sets. LOL Boy will the wife be happy. LOL
  5. Great stuff folks. Either way I was planning on Hvy weapons. Got one of clutch's MG34's. tis a awesome peice. only problem i got is- it is such a nice looking MG i find it hard to mod it for the 19 look. LOL (I also do ww2 reenactments. )
  6. Dang now that I think I may have the armour suit picked out. I got to deside TK or TD . (wish funds where so i could do both. LOL ) I know most are going to say TK here, hehe. Thoughts?
  7. Hey all Looking over a list of tools for assembling white armor. I have a question on the dremel. which one is prefered by you folks. I guess since I will not really be using it on much other then the suit and other suits, as collection gets out of hand ,from the sound of most troopers. hehe. Cordless? Higher RPM? any advice? Thanks Mike
