  1. i can also vouch for Anthony's leather pouches its all i run on my TD. beautiful pieces.
  2. I did this as well, find it helps keep the biceps strait. i do have them snap strapped to the bells too.
  3. Its coming along man, keep at it. Just remember to take your time and don't over think. Once you realize that the cuts will never be totally perfect the whole process goes a lot smother. I did a bit of sanding to get things where i wanted them. Watched ANH at least 20 times during my build to TK, then another 10 during my conversion to TD and weathering.
  4. i had done this on both sides to keep them lined up and tight. No elastic strapping, all thick nylon now & they stay aligned nicely.
  5. I do believe its ok and passable as it is, have heard from several sources it would be ok (Belt hides it anyways), have seen some people fill it in. With your dimensions you shouldn't have any issues at all for fitting.
  6. I ended up taking almost 6 inches out of the ab kidney area as i got it untrimmed, as long as you tell Mark your dimension, they should be able to make it for that dimension no problem Here is a pic or 2 of the new Kidney piece and ab ------------- Since these pictures and my 501st approval after converting to Sandy, i did have to take another 2 inches out of them as they were overlapping when belt is on.. Hope this helps Chris TD 42115
  7. I would second this as well, i have heard the same about fully built (ready to wear) armors. AP does make a very nice TK, i also have one but i prefered untrimmed.
  8. Yes you can use nylon as its more sturdy, i was going this route before the drastic change to the dirty side...
  9. E6000 has so much leeway if you make a mistake and need to changes something, I was going to use and ABS weld my self on my first build, glad i didn't had to redo a couple pieces already.. Only draw back about E6000 is the long cure time. Just make sure you got lots of space and a ton of magnets and clamps (Get more done in a cure period) Good luck with your build :-)
  10. I did this and it worked great to bring them in and close the gaps.. Congrats on the acceptance im right behind you :-)
  11. That is too funny, we used to frequent the highlander games in Fergus as well when I lived in Orangeville. I also used to play for the northmen :-)
