  1. Didn't get a ratio but standby - just had a slight interruption
  2. Freakin sweet (chest bump)! YAAA!
  3. With helmet under way - it was time to start making some paste. Much appreciation to Joseph for PMing me a paste recipe - I do apologize that I didn't follow it right to the tee as I already had 3 cases of 100% Acetone Nail polish remover given to me - the great thing is that it worked. Uh ya, if anyone needs some I have lots left over (16 bottles) ABS Paste - courtesy of justjoseph63
  4. Aye sir! I got the flat lense from the Trooperbay helmet kit and kind of using your process with anchoring the lense - remember that idea I shared with you... I believe I found a way to make it work - To be shown later down the road - it's a TK surprise lol
  5. Now let's take a look at that infamous bucket - Awww yaaaa! The next part gave me pleasure chills as I checked out a rough fit of my bubble lens -they may be hard to see out out but dang they look cool in my opinion.
  6. Next the chest plate. If you are going to use tin snips to cut your armor - first ensure that you have a pair of "Red's"- Right turn cuts & "Greens"- Left turn cuts, secondly remove larger excess plastic so that the area you are cutting can be gently pulled up and away from the blades of your snips giving you more cutting mobility, thirdly cut relief notches to allow the plastic to be pulled up more easily.
  7. I made sure to leave some extra rough edge on the ears so that there will be some extra room for me to play with when filing them down.[emoji106]
  8. Then I tried my hand at the back plate. I've been using sheet metal snips for over 12 years so I found them to be handy in areas that I was concerned about slippage from the exacto blade. After each piece is cut and trimmed - I take about 5-10 min to lightly sand down the edges - finer accuracy filing will come just before assembly. I also have found it easier to tackle a little on the armor, then switch to the helmet to break things up.
  9. Right then, here we go! To break myself in to trimming I started with my ears from ATA. I bought 2 pairs so if I botched the first ones it wouldn't matter much.
  10. Just a quick note to say thanks and send appreciation to Tony, yet again. I couldn't have asked for better timing for him to start his new Anovos TK thread while I'm doing my trimming process. Here's the link - I had to unsubscribe though cause my phone was dying on notifications lol. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/
  11. So I went and looked into the CRL for Hero after finding out that the trooper who made the guards has retired. Thank Vader, the CRL picture shows rounded at the wrist so I can still achieve Centurion. Now back to trimming!
  12. Excellent! Thanks loads mate!
  13. Regrettably my photobucket is down for maintenance mates - pics will have to wait. This would be so much easier if I could upload from Tapatalk - drives me crazy to have to import to FB, then upload to photobucket, then transfer here. What a process - oh well. I have bigger issues which have been brought to my attention - many many Thanks Danimal - my rubber hand guards are not Hero and my Sniper Plate came a little over-trimmed from Mark. I trimmed only what I had to to make the back points of the sniper plate square - again getting my Squad Captain to inspect via PM. The good news - with a whim and aloha (cheers Eric) - I can get all my trimming done before the bucket is up and running again.
  14. Sorry to all last night mates - couldn't get photobucket to run last night - I will be trying again after work
  15. They are beautiful too (seen your FB post the other day)! Wish me and the Mrs could have another one - alas not in the cards.
  16. Sanitation Trooper - FCRL requires that you smell like trash compactor monster rotfl[emoji23]
  17. No, unfortunately.
