  3. Is there a garrison member close by that you could drive and get help from?
  4. When in doubt read the CRL, some choose to make their blaster more accurate - with today's day and age I don't want it looking to real. I'm trying to track down a spring as well - I have a brother that works for a trucking company looking into it for me, when I find some I will let you know [emoji106][emoji41]
  5. I haven't been able to find the black but I did find a white flame sensor wire from an old Honeywell spark module flame sensor that I will just have to paint black - check with local electrical supplier like EECOL
  6. Check- out justjoseph's TK supply list mate, he gives all the Testors numbers and Humbrol numbers too - standby I will get the link Supply list for your TK build.... http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/31404-Supply-list-for-your-TK-build%2E%2E%2E%2E
  7. Here's what I grabbed today - additionally I picked up a plastic buffing wheel and some white plastic buffing compound and finally got things to where I'm happy. Time to get back to cutting out the rest of the helmet and get it ready for assembly. Here's the second round of paste
  8. Got mine from a place called Carzilla
  9. Harley - closed on Mondays - bumski's however found another shop that sells it - Score!
  10. Lol - not in Calgary mate we are gifted with Chinooks- our snow is almost gone again. Both my brother and my uncle ride - I have a standing arrangement with the Mrs "No more dangerous stuff anymore".
  11. 600 grit acquired and picking up 2500 grit later - now to find that Harley Davidson shop (can't just go for the polish and not dream a little while I'm there lol)
  12. I just have one pair of thighs, ammo belts, buttons, biceps, and inner forearms left - then comes the CRL Review/Finishing Touches - then Assembly. Completed my second paste application last night to remove any trace of teeth as I could still see slight indentations. Going to pickup finer grit sand paper and Novus polish today!
  13. Check online to save you some wondering and wasted trips - Plane/Boat Hobby shops - I already checked Michaels, Lowes, Home Depot, Princess Auto, Lee Valley and Walmart. Ya I spent a couple weeks checking around my city to see where I could find all my stuff at a reasonable cost lol[emoji23] In between calls of course
  14. Zap-A-Gap is the glue / Zip kicker is the accelerant[emoji106][emoji12]
  15. I wanted to use Zap-A-Gap Glue originally as well because of time however if you botch there's a very narrow margin for recovery
  16. Zip Kicker - check local Hobby Stores but for your first build I would use E-6000
  17. I apologize all - there's about 1/16" just before the wrist dimple
  18. Here are the corrections made to meet CRL
  19. No removal of the dimple is necessary there is about 1/8" of mold in front of the dimple. I've got one done that I will show in a bit. Need a quick break- good news too - it doesn't look that bad![emoji106]
  20. So you handled the scratch! Nice work mate!
  21. Again after a quick review of the CRL - there is NO return edge on the forearms so I will have to remove the areas that cover the dimples.
