  3. no need to try and "fit" in because if a person wants to be your friend they will like you for who you are and not what your "hobbies" are. if you change the way you are you will be lost and more unhappy than you are right now. only you yourself can bring happiness within yourself no others can do this, so just be yourself and everything will fall into order
  4. well imma raise the brow up, fill in the chin seam, change lenses, add fans, my hovi mics, my voice amp and some other stuff just not sure as of yet, but fellow members id like to see who all has a MR. bucket to post pics with pride. vaders first, TK 171

  10. yes the general purpose is CAP and is good for "pulls" and everything else, but the HIPS is more durable but its a personal choice
  11. Hello fellow troopers TK 171 here, now what I want to talk about is shims and seam lines different materals make.... Note : this is just a option Everyone knows what kind of seam lines vinyl makes so why not replace that old vinyl with some new polystyrene to give it that perfect seam..... so here is a link where I ordered my polystyrene from and it looks alot better than my vinyl did LINK -------------- you want to go with a 0.080 which matches the armor ABS and it is really cheap in price wise so head over and check it out
  12. We are just trying to look out for you and give the best advice that we possibily can, but as a legion we will support you in any decision that you may make......
  13. I just like making sure that everyones investments are well taken care of
  14. ok I have found a really good way to protect your bucket while traveling for troops and general storage. A motorcycle company company called FULMER makes a fleece lined helmet bag that way your bucket wont get scuffed.--------------- just goto your local suzuki shop and buy one on spot cost was around 35 dollars, or order one online
  15. i bought an FX kit because i am 6'1 and 200lbs, broad shoulders and a decent size head lol, you can make a FX kit look real close to screen accurate but it does take about 30 more hours on top of the usual 50 hours build time, i will be getting a MRCE bucket within the next few months. you want to get the armor that fits your stature. people your size the FX kit will not look good simpily because you are on the smaller side. plus with your size and you getting FX you will have to trim ALOT off on overall tallness and roundness. just take that into consideration and think it through, i thought about mine for atleast a year and just recently purchased mine. all armor fits different sizes and just so happened that the FX kit fit me best, its your armor and you do what you want 90percent of all 501st garrisons own and wear thier FX kits some bought for price and some it fit better, but almost all replaced thier bucket with either AP or MRCE. but if you ask for links and such people will help you out, check the for sale forum also. Long live the empire, TK 171
  16. wal-mart sells a "halloween" voice changer which has 3 settings on it, alien, monster and own, I took mine apart and got rid of the big speaker it comes with and bridged those wires to my speaker tips and replaced the factory microphone with a cheap hedset telephone mic. here are some links ------ -----
  17. ABS glues is really hard to remove once setup, the thing I would suggest is maybe boiling them to get the glue to become tacky again and then seperate the seam very quick, then use a fine tip marker and very carefully mimmic the way the top is shaped but draw it about one inch beloe, then use a dremel with a cutting blade attached to do your cut
  18. the best thing I have came up with to repair plastic cracks is fiberglass resin
  19. im 6'1 and 200 lbs and the FX kit is awesome, not so much movie accurate but can be altered to look so, no shimming required unless your a bigger person
