  1. Yep, I bought one when they 1st came out. Wish I held on to it a little longer, sold it to buy the EFX Worldwide Edition. Could have doubled my $$$.
  2. I wish EFX would do a LE ANH Stunt helmet, like the LE Hero from a couple years back.
  3. Yeah, I think it's just some dude who did a few one offs. But maybe he'll start developing them? I didn't really read the post, just saw the photos and freaked.
  4. Probably depends on how heavy the gun is I guess? Cool idea though! blaster sounds would be fun to have coming out of there (louder?). I don't know if anyone would get much use out of plugging their iPod into it? Given the environments when trooping, they tend to be noisy, so... I'm sure someone on here would want one though. A very good idea I think! Jess
  5. The AP is still my favorite helmet.
  6. Can you turn the under-suit inside out, so you don't see the logo? Probably not, with the zipper on the inside.
  7. AND may I say.. What nice O2 canister clips you have there! Those look awesome!
  8. I used a combination of adhesives for my snap plates. E6000 under the plates, and Plastic Weld around the edges. You see it in -----Photos.
  9. *sigh* OK! I ordered one of these. It took forever to arrive, because the post office was concerned that it was a "real" gun. Anyhow, when I finally got it... the 1st thing I noticed was how sticky it was (The spray paint they used stuck to my hands). The next thing I noticed was it was missing the parts that sit on the Amo clip (they were never attached). Third, the scope rail was glued on backwards, and since it didn't fit that way... They decided to glue it to the top T track on the barrel, cutting a groove out of the scope rail to get it to sit on there. Since they also had done that the T track had begun to crack. I will say, in all it's not a bad looking prop (it would look better if assemble correctly). But I would strongly suggest that you request it in pieces, and unpainted. You won't be happy with it otherwise.
  10. That thing looks like a chew toy! ... For a dog (not chewbacca).
  11. Tonight's progress... So God help me, or May The Force be with me... I've never sewn before! OK forget that... I can't work this thing! A quick test on the upper body... Still need to do some light sanding, and add the strips to my biceps ... Side rivets look good... Holy straps!! Backside... So I didn't get as far as I had hoped tonight. I wasted too much time messing with that dumb sewing machine. Ugh!
  12. Today's progress... Came home for lunch and worked on the ab buttons. I think I did them a little too big. But I still think they turned out ok. Let's see if this stuff works as well as they say it does... Cut out my shapes with an X-ACTO Chest done... Where was I? Ah yes... AB buttons! Let's start with the blue ones. M-Kay! Now the grey one's... Sweet! *cartman voice* What do you think... too big? More on the kidney/butt plate fix... Seems to work ... Simple but affective! Painted the side rivets... Everyone was out of white one's. So that was at lunch!
  13. Nice work!
  14. Ugh!! yeah, lot's of extra hills to climb on this kit. I was considering going TD... But I don't like the no strip look on the helmet. Maybe my next kit, I don't know? I bought the Sniper knee thing, and a pauldron... But I'm feeling rather indecisive on the subject. Probably just go with a TK for now.
  15. I'm getting there! I'm trying this thing on the butt plate, that will hopefully keep it from overlapping the kidney plate. We'll see if it works.
  16. Sunday Morning... Time to make the armor. Let's start with the easy stuff... Buttons on! Making some snap on straps Testin' the straps ... ... ... Time for lunch! Prep work for side rivets 'n' snaps
  17. It's actually my dining room table! LOL! My Wife is in Mertyl Beach with the kids this week, so I don't have to work in the basement, like I usually do.
  18. Still have a ways to go on these. Need to fix the gap at the bottom, and add the strips. Not sure if I need to fix the seems at the top, or what to do on the back yet. Nothing lines up on the AP kit... I just don't get it.
  19. How do they fit?
  20. Adding tabs to but plate/kidney. Used both E6000 (under tabs) and plastic weld (around edges) Go for tabs!
