Thighs and shins rough cut. Also did the shoulder bells, Thermal detonator, Chest, Back, abs, butt, and kidneys. I'm hitting my deadline of Toronto Comicon for sure. -

The problem with the notch... Ukswrath has told me I need to shim it out to match the edge of the kidneys meaning Its will be 22mm x 22mm and a huge pain lol Roughed Trimmed pile! 30 minutes after opening lol May not need to shim the outside but will still need to fix the notch I know this is't a fitting, I don't have my suit on and haven't trimmed the edges. -

I've been snapping some here and there. Just got too caught up in working to post them. Wife is making go to the bar, all I want to do is build lol.

Speaking of sanding anyone know the best way to get a nice smooth round edge out of a rough cut edge? Not having much luck on tutorials. I'll test tomorrow.if I can't figure it out -

I've managed to trim 90% of the suit today. Not too sure about biceps so going to look at references and make sure not to frack it up. I didn't trim the front or back of any limbs. Don't want to chance it not fitting due to over trim until I can properly fit it. Pictures tomorrow. -
Yes I am nitpicking, failing to see the forest for the trees but only because this is the tree that I'm hitting this weekend. If I have to move it that's more than alright, I just need to know without a doubt if I should.

And if you spray the inside of your helmet overspray is a real bad issue so that why most of use use brush on plastidip. -

Home hardware has tiny bar magnets. Use Krylon paint with primer built in and use an acrylic matte finish. -
Mine will actually be a double L, What Py has across the bottom then up the front with a normal shim. if my maths right it'll have to be an extra 1.5 inches onto each side of the kidney so it'll eliminate the notch that's there right now totally and I'll just cut a new one from my crazy shim.

I hope he doesn't mind me sharing, (sent in a pm) "Hey Eric, so the decision by Sly and myself is have the 22mm notch nearest the ab, not further back as originally discussed. We know this may a bit of work on your part however when it's completed it will look much nicer." So if you need to have the armour with the extended kidneys, you will need to move the notch to the front edge of the kidney armour. 22mm x 22mm is what the notch needs to be in the end for centurion. Now this is extra work but I trust UKS and Sly with my life at this point and if that's what they say we need to do and what will look best that's what I'm doing. IF you need help please message me. I will be fumbling my way through this as soon as my armour comes in and will be happy to share my findings Considering I most likely now have 6 shims to make this fit me haha.

Also I'm going with red plastidip instead of black in my helmet. People say the black doesn't show through so there's no reason to think the red would. I just think it'll look cool lol. Both my boots and armour are now on their way. Got both tracking numbers today and yesterday! -

just found out I have 2 more shims to do across the bottom of the kidneys. That brings the total to 6. Would it be less work to lose weight? haha -
It also is amazing that we have great staff and experienced people here that actually listens and consider even the newest of peoples questions. All of you guys do a great job and are appreciated that's for sure.
