    Or they could ship them then notify us. Would be an easy way to say sorry they are not what you expected but you had to cancel your order before they shipped. Either way, I can't wait, "the suspense is killing me i hope it lasts" - Wonka.

    BTW: It is great camping weather here in So. Cal. at the moment. On Saturday I will be at the Launch Bay and I am sure they will be willing to give me one of the ones they have there as soon as I show my ANOVOS receipt.

    I would freak out if they did that. l ordered one week after the preorder started so I hope I'll be in the first batch of shipping... I'm so tired of looking out for updates

    I will be setting up my tent and camping out in the front yard from now until the 18th waiting for the Brown Truck to come around the corner with my Christmas present from ANOVOS. :smiley-sw013:

    I'm starting to think he's right though. If any TK were to be in our hands this month, they would have sent us some sort of final update or something, don't you think?

     

    I, for one, won't be camping on the front yard waiting for my BBB because one, I live in an apartment complex so forget the front yard and two I'm in Canada, I'd rather not freeze to death, thank you!!!

    Guys, are you aware this is the Anovos TK-Armour thread and not the "is Battlefront canon thread"? This thread is partly straying off anyway, but your out of topic discussion about the game being canon or not is from another galaxy.

     

    Why not opening another thread about the canon topic? Maybe one of the admins would be so kind and put your comments about it over there?

     

    I'm neither trying to offend anyone or being offended myself, but its hard reading if you trying to follow the original topic and it gets hijacked by off-topic discussions.

    Also, there may be others on this board not interested in the Anovos TK-Armour, but in Battlefront and itrs impact on the StarWars Universe. Therefore a thread of its own would also include more people to partake.

    Good point! To be fair though, it's been pretty light in terms of news... I expected to have a better idea by now of the final product. But hey, if their priority is to ship ASAP thus explaining the lack of communication, well that's ok I guess!

    But you're right, Anovos is VERY pr driven and they take great care to showcase their brand...

    Furthermore, if they manage to deliver with the Star Wars brand, they could become a force to be reckoned with and bring the hobby to be more widely known to the masses...

     

    Their ST stuff had been said to be excellent, let's hope they don't drop the ball!

    I'm not exactly sure what you mean... Pictures of both the CVII and SDCC booths were posted in this thread as well as on the Facebook group page. ANOVOS sends out fairly frequent announcements of new products via both e-mail and Facebook. ANOVOS even posted on their Facebook page about their helmet display. They even tag their own page in their posts, in addition to using a hashtag for their brand. I'm not sure what evidence of their advertising tendencies you want. I thought they'd been fairly clear about the fact that they want their name to be associated with every product they put out as heavily as it possibly can be. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, I'm just saying that I think they would have at least had a logo or something on those price signs if they were the ANOVOS suits.

    They were super public about their appearances at CVII and SDCC. Every time ANOVOS has a display set up it's one of the most logo-plastered displays I've ever seen.

    I'll check out the link to the Sith Lord detachment info.

     

    Edit: I'm not a Sith Lord detachment member, so I can't see the thread. Is someone willing to link individual pictures here or something?

    I'd also like to point out that if it were ANOVOS, it would have the name all over it. ANOVOS has been very public about everything they've put out because they desperately need that brand recognition which will give them an edge as a commercial production company. If this kit was ANOVOS I think it would be very clear that it's ANOVOS.

    There's no name or logo, there hasn't been an announcement about having a kit on display, and there's been no material to even suggest that they're putting any kind of display out until the actual product is released. In the past they've been very clear about ownership of their materials and displays.

    Basically, what this boils down to is whether or not the house of the mouse used a vetted maker's armor as a placeholder, right? Not cool for sure...

     

    Even if that's the case, it says nothing about the Anovos kit and then this will have been, as it's been the case for quite some time now, just pointless speculation on our part... I'm seeing a pattern here, almost like someone warned us not too get too carried away with speculation and stuff

    That is definitely not the same armour Anovos showed earlier when those two guys built the black kit. This one shows all the signs of being cast from an AP where the black kit was cast from an RS. More photos of this particular suit will help identify all the parts as it is possible it came from several sources (if anyone is really interested?)

    I guess it will be hard to get such pictures unless someone who reads this thread happens to go there soon...

     

    I just don't get it though, if I was to go there, I'd take a million pictures of the suit, not just one!!

     

    BTW, would you be so kind as to share what those tell are? I'm always up for learning more about the types of armour...

    Pretty decent sale on shadow trooper helmets and full ensembles for 24 hours and counting: "This offer ends on Friday, November 27th at 11:59pm Central Time *OR when 50 units are sold on Friday, so act now!*" I was able to use my 10% code I got from the key fob, and they gave me another code lol. PM me if you want it, it's good for 2 weeks and I can't afford to buy anything else from them! Happy thanksgiving!

    I had to pay extra because I changed shipping method and location and they gave me a code! Someone saved quite a few buck on a full completed suit thanks to this!!!

    Shame but understandable when you have so many to do. Making odd exceptions would be a nightmare.

    I'm sorry I misled you, I'm pretty sure it was being considered at some point... Maybe you could buy a helmet kit and sell the completed one?

     

    Edit : I found the post from Got Maul on theRPF. Kit helmet option was discussed but nothing ever came of it... Sorry

    Still the biggest unknown this one. I want to know if I'll be using the bucket as is, repainting or even replacing (either fluffy bunny kit I build or someone else).

     

    I honestly wish the helmet came un-assembled as it's something I was looking forward to but oh well.

    You can request to get your bucket un-assembled if I'm not mistaken. I've read that on the RPF where one of the big fluffy bunnies still lurks from time to time... Shoot an email to support@anovos.com and they might be able to work something out for you...

    However, to see that you intend to pass it on to a buddy to live his dream too, that's super awesome man! I don't have the faintest idea on how to do what you're trying to do but I just wanted to say I hope it turns out good!

    I'm sorry to say that but many things are bugging me with this kit but I'm still just a noob, so I could be wrong.

     

    It really looks like a recast of FX armor... FX armor just isn't very accurate. Maybe others can chime in but that's what I see.

     

    Off the top of my head :

     

    - Proportions are a bit weird...

    - Back "I/O panel" is too big

    - Ab isn't accurate, see below an RS for reference

     

    Again, I'm really, REALLY sorry to say that but it's not very accurate... It still looks like a TK so most people will still get a kick out of seeing you at events and such. As for approval, I really can't say, maybe someone higher up in the food chain can advise?
