For the record Jim's kit is really great work. There are a few build threads on here that you could check out to see if you like what it looks like. He's based in the Philippines but don't let that stop you as he'll ship just about anywhere with no problem. Not to mention he's an awesome guy [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'll ask the guys there again, last i heard was that it was "work in progress" - Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Hey guys Currently I have a aker amp and icom unit installed in my chest piece along with a memorex wireless receiver. I then have the wireless transmitter installed in the back of my bucket. My issue is that I am constantly getting nasty feedback through the amp when ever I try to use the system and have not been able to figure out why. Looking for any trouble shooting suggestions from the group so I can use this on the next troop. Thanks ahead of time! Shaun Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

This is awesome work man! Appreciate the generosity of sharing the information and the files. It shows the true nature what FISD is all about. I know our 3d printers here in Taiwan look are fired up and anxiously awaiting to be used for our garrison here

There is a sculpter in the Philippines garrison that just finished his first complete build and is doing Helmet runs currently. The final product looks pretty solid but haven't seen in person but in talking to the guys that have its pretty impressive. Here is the thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?/topic/31428-Another-TFA-Stormtrooper-Bucket-Build%2E%2E%2EOld-School-Sculpting Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'd be curious. I'm hoping to head down to hong Kong in the next month and swing by and see them. I'll drop the Hong Kong garrison CO a line and see if he's heard anymore from them. -

It looks at if there are some of the guys from the Hong Kong Garrison that have been giving feedback to them on this one. They have since correct the scope to be accurate and I also believe the Magazine too - pretty cool none the less -
He is back online as of today just as a heads up

Sizing question - Thighs / Forearms
CoolHand replied to CoolHand's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Hey guys - been traveling a bit and hadn't been posting. Bluey - you were spot on with the wearing it part. I had taped and clamped everything up just to try it for fit and the thighs fit great. Even after glueing together they are super easy to step into. Now I just need to finish a strapping belt to make sure they stay in place. For the forearms. They are Velcroed on one side for now. I have to play with the sizing to see if I can seal them up and make them work. The issue I noticed wasn't really my non-Popeye forearms as it was just getting a good fit and making sure my hand got through. I think a bit more playing around and I'll be all good. Thanks for the input guys, definitely a help! Shaun Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Taking some copious notes of my own from your build! Great details and ideas! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Hi Everyone, I have begun my first TK build and have run into a sizing issue with a few parts namely the things and the forearms. To give a brief background on the kit I am currently in Taipei Taiwan and had worked with the CO of the outpost here on obtaining a good kit from a source that a lot of the TK's in Taiwan, Hong Kong etc currently use. The assembly style is an overlap method and not the butt join / cover-strip that a lot of kits use. prior to doing any gluing I wanted to make sure that the pieces would have a good fit and i wouldn't run into any issues. After reading ALOT of the posting on here this seemed like a logical first step Onto my questions: Forearms - is there any issue with using Velcro to make it easier to take them on and off? Similar to what is done for the calves? Thighs - Same question - I have made a clean glue for the front portion but when it comes to seal up the back it gets a bit thin on real estate. Would a velcro seal work on the things (hadn't seen a thread speaking to it either way)? I may be able to use velcro to seal it off and think if glued that it won't hold. Long term it seems like a shim option would be best I am open to any ideas or suggestions that you all may have. Thanks ahead of time for any of your ideas or banter Shaun
