  1. No you don't need wires. This is extra.
  2. Just in front of your left shoulder between your breast plate and shoulder bell. Strapping, I installed a female snap on the upper, center, back section of my pouch. I then took a 3" piece of black elastic and looped it around the shoulder bell to shoulder strap elastic, finally bringing two ends together with a male snap that connects to the shoulder pouch snap.
  3. Wondering how many FISD /501st members will be wearing their swag! Oooooooh Yeeeeeea!

  14. Wow! Using "C" clamps that size to be holding thigh halves together is concerning. I'm not sure I want you standing next to me during a troop just in case your seems decide to let go and blow me across the street JK, Gotta do what ya gotta do!
  15. Noted!
  16. Good to know, always thought it was. Thank you for the correction.
  17. Regarding the TD, I would wait for Steve to confirm before doing anything, he may think it's ok to go as is. Good luck sir
  18. Hey look who's shooting for Centurion. Great build Greg As for your list: 1 - paint the latex hand guards and glue them on rubber chemical gloves (for Centurion), YES 2 - fix sniper plate/thigh overlap, I think you're ok 3 - replace large ab button plate (aesthetics), If they're molded, not buttons, I think you're ok 4 - tighten up the ab/kidney plate join (for Centurion), Eh! yea it could us a bit of tightening Only thing I would add, though it shouldn't effect EIB (but may effect Cent) is the left TD belt clip. I would suggest moving out to the edge, flush with of cap. Also, for Cent your Hovi Mic tips will need to be white in the center. Looks awesome
  19. All pun intended, whenever I see a name with a numerical suffix I always think of the Dijon Mustard commercial, "Pardon me but do you have any Grey Poupon?" I know, I'm just a commoner.
  20. A picture is worth a 1000 words 1 word
  21. Beautiful just beautiful. Every time I see one being restored it brings a tear of joy to my eye. So many fond memories in my teenage years, surfin SoCal, trips to Mex, such good times. Keep up the good work. Would love to see your progress over time, you can send me a PM with pics if you like
