  1. I don't mind buying the 100 units as I know I can probably sell the excess, we need correct straps through.
  2. Nifco buckle with the strap from Andy and we have a match
  3. Very nice Serge, wow, I think you may be onto something here Now if we can only get the correct strap
  4. BTW the moment the first armor hits the porch I'll be on vacation, peace out JK
  5. The armor hasn't arrived yet has it?
  6. Like with everything else, until these things are in our hands it's all speculation. Let tomorrow worry about itself.
  7. You'll get the YOO HOO! award
  8. I'm assuming this will be the case. I'm one of many who ordered the armor and also hoping they either remedied our concerns about this prior to shipment or at least made it easy to convert. I for one won't have any issue with the modification as long as the belt is not trashed in the process. In my very first build I pulled a rookie move placing the belt & screws in the wrong position. I simply cut 1/4" off the end of the belt cloth and used some of the fabric to cover the hole. To this day you can barely tell there was a hole.
  9. Alright. You'll be fine for now. If you decide to apply for Centurion we'll suggest you drop it. Great looking build
  10. Not necessarily. Is there anything else connecting the two (bicep to bell)?
  11. Yea I'm pretty sure they're unique to the vest used, possibly even made specifically for Disney. The closest buckle that I've found besides what Andy has provided us above can be found her at americanplastics.com. http://americanplastics.com/catalog.asp?cat=829570950&p=4&c=14 Granted the strap is different the buckle looks spot on. This is a TIFCO buckle, other TIFCO buckles can be found used on other parts of the armor as well.
  12. Also, Ideally you want your shoulder bells touching or very close to your chest to back strap Other observations and suggestions: 1) Drop your biceps about 1". The upper connection looks ok at this time 2) Raise your shins about 1" if possible to reduce the gap between them on your thighs.
  13. Removing some of the bell lower return edge should help snug them up.
  14. I was just about to say Congratulations to all for setting a new record for the most redundant nonsense in a single topic. "Here's your sign"
  15. It's the most common, yes
  16. .... and approval threads I may have to start drinking coffee by the gallons.
  17. Hey Antonio not sure if i asked you this before but what's the cover strip width on your legs?
  18. The smaller of the two buckles looks like a TIFCO slider. You can buy them through americanplastics.com. As a matter of fact I believe TIFCO makes most the buckles for the armor suspension system I built for my FOTK. Though you could be correct I'm still not entirely sure this is the correct buckle. But then again we don't have the clearest of images to choose from at the moment. The strap looks spot on though.
  19. you're doing just fine
  20. Check that out, very nice job
  21. Your armor and all your other goodies came out spectacular! Nice job
  22. hahaha you haven't seen close ups of screen used TFA TK armor have you? It's kind of a running joke with those that have . Almost 40 years later and the Empire is still having a hard time making quality battle armor it seems lol But I like deer meat
  23. Hey Alberto thanks for the corrections and updated images. We're still struggling with the drop boxes but this time it's that they are sitting too high or there too much lower return edge on the ammo belt. You should have 1-2mm return edge below the ammo boxes and the drop boxes should sit even or slightly below that. Here's a reference picture. Take care of that and we'll get you Centurion approved.
