Hey Juan can we get a picture of the bucket, right side please. Thank you -
There are a great deal of talented builders here. Any one of their build threads should suffice. THT

It's allowed but not required.

Thanks for the heads up John and sorry to hear about your experience. This has been happening a lot lately unfortunately. I've often though of starting a post where offending vendors names can be posted to warn others, unfortunately anyone with a bone to pick could throw someone under the bus. Anyways thanks again for sharing. Troopers Helping Troopers

Joining cod piece to butt plate?
ukswrath replied to pewpewpew's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
The most common is nickle but some will argue brass is fine also. The CRL does not specify, just don't paint the crotch or RIGHT side ab snaps, or cod rivet. -
Joining cod piece to butt plate?

Hey Travis, if want to achieve the higher levels of accuracy the you'll need to have male base snaps on the outside of the armor at the posterior and right from ab, seen here. They're not required to be functional. -
Congratulations Allan welcome to the clan
-
Just to be perfectly clear for the new builders, the Ab snap base is only required for Centurion and the Posterior snap bases are required for EIB and Centurion. AB For level three certification (if applicable): A single male snap on the top right corner of the ab plate is present. Posterior For level two certification (if applicable): Two male snaps are present on the lower center tab of the Posterior Armor.

As well as the posterior correct

TK3942 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status [RS][602]

Hey Nam, thanks for your application and welcome to your EI review. Another fellow GGG member, love it!. Let's get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for level 2. Welcome to Expert Infantry trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations if any, made by your fellow troopers, Sly or myself. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. None of these suggestions will effect your EI qualification today. 1) Ab to kidney gap, right side is a bit excessive. It's not too much of a issue here at EI but you'll need to reduce this gap for Centurion. This could be as simple as a picture retake. The CRL states: For level two certification (if applicable): Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide. For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Your left side isn't too bad. Reference pictures. Right side Left side Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application. 1) Kidney to ab gap mentioned above. 2) Drop box alignment. Drop boxes are to aligned with the ends. To fix this may be as simple as gluing the drop box elastic to the waist belt itself which should position the boxes in the correct location. The CRL states: For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference picture. I like to use because even though Han is bent over in the scene the drop box alignment is still in check. 3) It appears the left side rivets are too far from the armor edge, they should be approximately 10mm. You can either move the rivets over, filling in the holes or remove more side return edge, but that may increase the ab to kidney issue you're already having. How you choose to do this is up to you. The CRL states: For level three certification (if applicable): Rivets are equally spaced along the depth of the armor and about 10mm from the edge. Reference picture. Beautiful job on your build BTW. Great to have another GGG brother in the EIB ranks. -
Yep Connecting snaps no. The posterior and right ab must have the base snaps though they don't need to be functional.
-
Actually the Anovos material is so thin if connected correctly to the ab it should flex into position. Looking good Chris

Hey Erik, yes you can use the existing Anovos ear screws to mount the lens however, as mentioned previously we (the FISD deployment officers) are recommending you replace the existing ear screws with ones more accurate. They should be "V" head shaped not flat head. Either way find a matching drill size, or a slightly larger bit and drill the lens material. All this info can be found starting here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/?p=475530 Hope this helps
