  1. There's another tutorial (a bit more detailed) replacing the screens, somewhere in the ANH stunt section I believe, if your interested.
  2. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/page-41#entry475871
  3. With the new info i'd acquired after the fact, I ended up sanding down the upper layer (prior to paint prep) so that the upper step either sat flush or just below the armor layer. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
  4. Something I learned after I built mine is the 3rd (lower) layer is actually the inner cover strip you're using to connect the two.sidea. The movie armor is actually 3d print so in reality there is no inner cover strip but the point is the upper layer is actually 1 step lower then the outer layer of the armor itself. 5. Good point, except for the painting skills which I have no opinion
  6. Any armor section that floats will be your saving grace in hot weather or when making specific movements. Like Kalani mentioned foam is your best bet before hacking any more plastic.
  7. At Centurion were requesting the correct ear screws be installed, some of the excess eye return edge be removed, the hovi tip mesh be changed out for the correct type, tube stripes be approximately a pencil width away from the face, no over spray on the frown teeth, and as mentioned the frown be extended.
  8. Sounds like you're on the right track.
  9. Do you have a pair of pliers? Place it in a vice or use another pair of pliers and tweak it a little, cut it, round off one end BAM! you're golden
  10. You can submit the DLT instead of the E11 but that means new pictures, action shot also.
  11. Or you can make something that looks like a handle and attach it.
  12. Do you have another blaster you can use?
  13. The problem wasn't the hole you filled in, your blaster is missing the charging handle (aka loading lever). The blaster you submit must have this lever. Reference pic
  14. Good question. The Anovos helmet like many others have their limitations. In regards to the Anovos it's not possible to gain any front to back space from what I've seen. The good news there are armor mfgs like RT-MOD that sell larger helmets, the down side is the shade of white is slightly off from the Anovos. Wish I had better news for you. 15. Hi Gary, thank you for your Centurion application and thank you for making the recommended corrections. Let's get started! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos are present. Your armor meets the requirements for L3. Sly and self would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Centurion ranks. Great job. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we would have made and additional suggestions that would enhance the look of your armor, we have nothing to add. Excellent! job on your build Gary. The legion and the GGG are proud to have another Centurion in it's ranks.
  16. Yes, they'll be just fine
  17. lol no problem Gmo. Well if at any point you plan on applying for the Centurion accuracy level you'll need to replace the plastic had guards with flexible versions, just a FYI. The plastic supplied by Anovos are not accurate anyways so 3/8" or so should be fine, it doesn't have to be accurate.
