i have an external speaker and it gets muffled under the chest plate. Its a small walkie talkie

i figured out. So I will be trooping this saturday with this setup and I will take a video so you can see how it works in real situation.

how can you set them ?????

pretty sure those "real stormtroopers" are not as devoted as us

so far the only issue I had is that if some outsider is scanning channels the walkie beeps and may want to start a conversation. Or you my pick on conersations from people in the same channel.

i think JJ should use members of the 501st to play stormtropers in order to pay tribute of what kept starwars alive all this years. Also, to keep congruency w ANH. Troopers had different size and builts. 501st troopers are legit they dont need to act.

I need a fan for bucket. where can i get one that i just put in out of the box. I mean, with the battery pack and everything i am not good using soldering and stuff. Does radioshack sells things like this..

seems like the kidney plate has to be sized a little bit narrower to your frame in order to align with back plate . Remember that the back plate has to be over or above the kidney plate.Also,,the drop boxes in the belt are a little too low. The drop boxes should be mounted closer to the ammo belt face. You have more elastic showing in the connection than it should look like. You should barely be able to see the elastic connection point at all. This actually happened to me and a fellow garrison mate pointed it out and I was able to correct it before my submission. I think this is an easy fix. nothing that a dremmel and velcro can't fix. look for some reference pictures so they can give you a visual of what I am talking about good luck. Seems like just a minor changes and will be ready.

Hey dave!!! I did the same mistake. I spend a whole year trying to build it and it was hard. Glue did not work and smelled like a meth lab. I took that armor to a comicon and Got awesome responses. However, when it came time to try to apply for the legion It was clear that the armor fell short and wouldnt stand the abuse of trooping. Needless to say I had to invest in a "real kit" and not in a holloween costume. I kept the armor and now is in a mannequin in my manacave (looks good though). As the other guys say, to join the legion its almos impossible to "cut corners". I was so excited when I first got my fiber glass kit because it looked out of the movie.

do u use the walkies facing the you or facing armor?

hey carlos. So it depends what level you want to archive in your armor. For a basic level you need a kenner or hasbro and painted black. /you can find one on ebay for bout 50 USD or less. If you want to move on you need that blasteer and a conversion kit to modify it that goes for about 45 USD. that is 95 total. The good new is that you live in Europe and you can find really good ones in the UK. for about that price and great quality.
