Hi I am thinking about getting a video camera to document troops from a first person perspective. Any ideas or brands on this? Camera placement its important because i dont want to mount it over the helmet . I heard of Gopro cameras but I have not had experience with this. Any tips are welcome

I just got my Garrison trading cards and I was wondering what is a good way to carry them to have them accessible during troops? Any ideas? thanks

I downloaded it and my favorite was the mos eisley and the death star. I think I could use it at events like comiccons where we get "stationed" waiting for people passing by for pictures. I used a micro MP3 player connected to the line in of the Aker. I try to interact with the recording using the icomm to simulate the transmission line.

Has anyone used this before? ideas and experiences are appreciated.

I was wondering if there is a way to keep stored the selected static burst after the unit is off. I noticed that when turned back on, it goes back to random. thanks

the only issue is the feedback. I tried amps before and they feedback but the only way to know is trying it. for $8 may be worth it. But yes, it makes a difference having an amp. At troops people get a kick when they can here the sound . They say . "Wow , sounds so real" I have a 12 watt aker, I paid $35 and its very worth it.

I got a pair of nice black boots but i need to paint them white. any tutorials or tips?

so I tropped with the aker on Saturday and place it under the AB plate by my stomach. No feedback.

i just got a new aker amp and i was wondering what is the best placement in the armor to avoid feedback and increase volume. Thanx

summer is almost over and I am preparing for fall/winter trooping. Some troops are outside such as parades and other events. The question is how to keep warm when trooping? Any specific undersuits that are thermal?

any tips on how to create a signature??? with picture and text

well , at one point i wanted to get the ruby's armor. yeah the picture looked soo cool. Then I red the reviews and realized that it was terrible. my fiber glass with efx helmet looked 10 times better than that. I have moved on from that but I wonder if many people have that same thought of getting that because of the picture

yes. Its a must when trooping. However, you have to use your hands and body language to communicate, showing where to pose or how. My favorite is when I have to ell them to get down on their knees for prisoners and to move along!!

i agree. That could work for a halloween costume. But if u want to troop, get plastic

jedi robe is highly discouraged to buy for being overpriced. However, it will meet basic 105st standard if you change the plastic belt with a canvas belt and replace the boots as well. You can contact the GML from the garrison that you are trying to join so he can tell you what can be good for approval .

just have in mind that you will be investing between 1000 and 1500 at least for something that will endure trooping. Check the FISD classifieds too. Because of your build, authentic props may be the best bet. their contact info is in the list , but there is like a 4 to 5 weeks wait.

I have seen many troopers were their neckseal is substantially showing. How they get to do that? is the helmet to small or their necks too long or what? how can I do that? something like this: I dont own this. its for reference only

that list works. At the beginning i was wondering myself what to get. I even considered "blasphemous" options or sites. Dpending on your frame and weight a certain armor will fit you best. Also check the classifieds in this site (It works ).
