  2. Thank you Morten for the info!
  3. Thank you for the heads up on the helmet - I would've never thought about that possibility.
  4. I know it sounds like I'm on the bandwagon, but add me to the Tantive IV scene too. That scene is what hooked me on the TKs.
  5. Hello Everyone, I tried researching this topic prior to creating this thread with not much luck. I'll be on a Disney Cruise this October for their Halloween on the high seas cruise. I'm planning on taking my TK costume, but it's not clear if E11 blaster will be allowed on board. Has anyone had any recent luck with bringing a blaster or realistic looking prop on a Disney cruise? Your input is appreciated!
  6. The AP team is awesome, the bucket is a fun item to start off with - look forward to see your pics!
  7. Awesome, look forward to your build thread too!
  8. Thank you Andrew, good to hear your armor is en route. So cool!
  9. Thank you Steve! Yes Sir, one little trooper in training too!
  10. I received my AP kit and it looks amazing. Right off the bat, in that beloved brown box was my helmet staring right at me, so I couldn't resist and I started to put together my bucket. Applied decals, painted the vocoder and frown, and applied trooper bay's dark green lens, yellow foam helmet liner, and helmet frown screen. Note: I used 1/2x1/8 N48 magnets to hold the frown mesh together so I can apply some E-6000. Lens, foam liner, and mesh view: Very happy with the progress.
  11. Thanks for the info Derek. Got my compression top and bottom from trooperbay today. Turns out that they also carry the eastbay evapor. So the top fit me to size according to the size chart - I picked up a large. As for the bottoms, it was the black eastbay evapor pants with the gray stitching. I'll ask him if I can send those back. I'll take your recommendation and shop locally for some pants.
  12. Blaster looks great, and looking forward to your progress.
  13. Hi CrazyKid, I'm 5'5" 165 lbs. After much research I selected the AP armor. You've come to the right place as we have tons of info on here. Using the search feature at top of the page is your friend. BTW, be sure to drop your intro here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/5-new-member-introductions/.
  14. Hello, can anyone advise if the eastbay evapor compression top's sizing is accurate? My chest size is approx 42 inches, so I'm not sure to chose what's in the size chart and end up with a top that's too big. Thank you for you input. ------------
  15. Just took a look at at the DD blaster from their UK eBay site from the link provided above. Question to get the blaster approved, will I need to pick up a D-Ring from trooperbay and is there a preferred black finish (flat, satin)? Lastly, could someone please recommend a good type of paint to apply. Thank you,
  16. Hi Andrew, I'm 5'5" weighing 165 and just ordered my AP kit. The AP kit can also easily fit someone up to 6'2".the AP contact info on the http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ page is up to date. Good luck!
  17. This thread has helped tremendously with my armor search - Narrowing it down to AP . My next search is a helmet speaker system for an AP helmet - my apologies in advance for any incorrect terminology. Your input is much appreciated.
  18. Glad to hear that. Any kits that you or anyone can recommend for someone that is 5'5"? Thank you!
  19. Hello All, My first post! I'm 5'5" and 165 pounds. Saw an earlier post on this thread that referenced a gentleman that was 5'7", but no reference to a shorter person. Any recommendations on a kit for my height and frame? Your input is greatly appreciated!
