Looking good trooper!

Another great newsletter and I'm so glad to have a little part in it. It's amazing to see how much is going on in the FISD and to see how much fun everyone is having while still making others smile.

Everything looks good from my end. The TD caps that were previously mentioned were the only things that stuck out to me. Nice job on this build!

Ouch...I almost did that trying to get on an escalator during one of my troops. Not fun!

I tried signing up on the Canadian Garrison forums to get more info but the application was denied. Do you need to be in the Canadian garrison to get access?

You'll also want to trim them to make sure they don't snag on your under suit. Pinches and bites because of over extended strips get really old when you've been in your armor 6 hours straight!

Mine was really tight as well and I ended up going with the hot water to try and open it up a bit. I was too afraid of the heat gun! In some cases you can put the larger strip on the inside and a smaller strip on the outside just barely covering the gap. I did that on my leg armor.

I use these for my "trooping gloves" as well. The chemical gloves were great for Centurion approval and look awesome for photo shoots but they are brutal during a long hot troop!

Awesome!!! Thank you all so much for all of the support and advice! To celebrate, here is a group photo from my first troop yesterday. I'm second from the far right.

While I'm waiting for "Judgment Day" I thought I'd take the opportunity to thank everyone on the FISD boards for all the support and encouragement over the past year. I officially started my build last July when I got my blaster and from day one I was made to feel like I belonged here. Finishing my build this July cemented the fact that this is an awesome place to hang out and receive encouragement. Thank you all for the support!

If you decide to go with the strap method make sure to buy more snaps than you think your going to need. It seems like I went through them like water.
