1. I got a generic set of 15mm snaps from eBay Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
2. As promised some pictures of the NGT rod. Pack is far from finished yet but I've quickly stuck it together so you can get an idea of how it will look. And here's the whipping after the red permanent marker treatment Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
3. I'll take some this evening and post them up Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
4. I went with the NGT (although I am UK based) and managed to get it looking pretty good by going over the whipping with a red permanent marker to give the appearence of the red flash Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
5. After spending a few hours un-stiching it it turned out to be about two inches too short. Back to the drawing board...... Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk
6. I've been looking at the bedroll and remembered I had an old bag from my time in the military that might work as a base for it. What are people's thoughts on the material?
7. Thanks for the research that has gone into this!

I'll be trying my hand at building a pack after Christmas. Got most of the parts sourced now apart from the ammo box, really struggling to find a source for one.

Just need to see the film now!
8. I've got to admit, the more I see of the RO TK helmet the more I like it
9. I agree with the shoulder bells coming in at the top a little but other than that, looking good! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

12. Had the pleasure to troop at RAF Mildenhall again yesterday. It was the second time we had been invited to support the Jedi training academy at the base exchange. As it was also armed forces day in the UK, and as an ex service man, it was a fantastic opportunity to support the military community. The hospitality from the guys in the exchange was fantastic and the reaction from the people coming in was amazing, everyone was really appreciative of us being there. Really looking forward to the next opportunity to troop there and put some smiles on the faces of the families of our brothers and sisters from "across the pond" Pictures to follow........
13. Well done Lee. Nice to see another EIB on the ranks of the UKG!
14. Thank you Eric and congratulations Tim! Looking forward to see how the detachment grows over the next year.
15. I get that if I try to go to the EIB page but only when I'm on my laptop.
16. The plate with the hole is a piece of ABS however with mine I used a piece of webbing material instead so that it would follow the contours inside the shin better.
17. Looking good trooper! Two things I've noticed: You could bring your shoulders bells in slightly so they are closer to the shoulder bridges for a cleaner look. Also your shin has popped over the top of your boot. I had the same problem with my RS, this is one solution to get round the problem Good luck!
