I had the same tacky feel on my Clifford James boots. It did go away after a while although I did use a whole bottle of deglazer on each boot. They came up alright in the end though!

Did you put any tells onto your helmets? If he's claiming they're cast from the Joe R bucket but you can show that actually they're recast from you couldn't eBay remove the listing?

What did you go for ABS or Pvc?
