Thanks - I'll remove the reference to cms on the next updated.
No, please don't remove it. Just correct it.
It's very useful to the 90% of the world, that use metric units instead of imperial. There are only 3 countries in the world that didn't adopt the metric system yet: Liberia, Myanmar and the USA...

Top Right Vent Box has a mistake.
6" and 7" can't both be 18cm
6" should be about 15cm.

The other is that is the kidney upside down?
No, it's allright. Have a look on the strapping image: the cut out notches are on the right place. Just looks a bit unusual because of the missing shims.
I'd recommend you to affix your belt with snaps on the front. This way it can't slide down.Other than that, you look great!

So looking through the RS Propmaster's site, i'm suddenly enthralled by the Sandtrooper armor. Is this type of armor approved by the 501st?
There is a Sandtrooper CRL, if that is what you mean. You can find the Sandtrooper Detachment at www.mepd.net
There is no armor out of the box, that is automatically approved by the 501st. It also depends on how the armor fits the wearer.
Example: someone with a height of 190cm builds a perfect armor and gets 501st approval. Later he sells the armor to a guy with 170cm body height. Logically the armor must now be approved again by one of our membership officers, because it won't fit the smaller guy
If you don't like the weathering and only like the "heavy" look, we also have the Heavy Weapons Trooper.
Here is the list of FISD costumes:

and the list of MEPD costumes:

RS propmasters has an original screen used suit which makes it probably the most accurate kit. You can have a look on their kits at www.rspropmasters.com
In our gallery there is a section with the original RS suite.
I think troopermaster is the most accurate fanmade kit.

Unfortunately your link doesn't work
But it doesn't have to be the wedco oil drain pan! We don't have that one either in Europe. But since the HWT is based off a video game reference, there is no need to get that exact part. I'm pretty sure the guys at pandemic studios didn't think of the wedco oil pan, while making the textures for their game
So as long as the dimensions look correct, you should be fine with any oil pan
(Hopefully, one of the HWT specialists can give is 2cts here and correct me if I'm wrong.)

ok, I've heard back from my GML and the only thing he wants me to do is to close that gap on the left thigh....

Great job on the build Danny! I’m looking on my phone right now so it is a little fuzzy but is that a gap on the bottom of the left thigh? If that is a gap, is there anyway to try and close that up a little more? I don’t see if effecting any approval but my eyes went almost right to it. Again great job!
yes there's a little gap, but the only thing I could do is to glue something behind it and fill it with ABS paste. Which is a lot of efford for a small gap.
I was looking at reference pictures and found a guy with an even worse gap there
I'd prefer to not have this gap, but there is no way, I could open the thigh again without damaging it. I glued it with CA glue. -
This is a question we have on every troop.
ANH - Blasters on the left hand or right hand?
These guys have it on the right hand:

These here on the left:

Now I'm totally confused!
Is there a right way to hold your blaster? Is there a common way? What do you prefer?
Best regards,

Hi all!
After two years having it laying around, I finally accomplished to finish my Anovos TK kit. Please have a look on it and enjoy or - if necessary - correct.
I've also worked on the Anovos helmet, slightly trimmed the eyes, repainted the teeth, cleaned the frown, changed the Mic Tips and screws.
Please have a look on my DLT-19 if it's Centurion usable.Best Regards,
Danny

Anovos at first was expensive; but wow does it look sharp and comes with almost everything! I’ve got AP now, but it may be time to upgrade later
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalksharp pulls usually result from thin material. I got one of the first anovos classic TKs, it's fine work, but I'm not sure if it'll last long. Also I had a very very bad experience with their customer service. If you're looking for an upgrade, you should rather consider TM, RS or one of the other vetted makers.
