I know! I've never heard of PVC armor before either. Interesting. Recast? I asked him about it he responded with he bought it from someone else but didn't have the time to build it. Looks accurate though :/ good or bad buy?

Truly there is no rush, I'm just trying to be fair to others. Truly the lost of 6 can't be the only people who make armor. Its like saying only drink Starbucks because Starbucks is everywhere and 'owns coffee' and not have dunkin donuts because it's from the east coast and Indiana took some business from it.. (Sorry I love coffee) The legion from what I hear don't own any rights to this armor at all.. And yes I understand that the 'vetted-sellers' are go to about the armor.. But in a way I feel pushed one way.. I'm doing my research like you said and I'm digging.. Deep. Trying to understand all the controdictions of the FISD with armor. Bryan, I know I got burned once, but that doesn't mean I'll do it again. I'm just laying out all the options really. A out MTK, even if he made his own mods its still considered recast I presume? But get its okay. He's not a vetted seller.. Not allowed on the site but a lot wear his armor. I'm puzzled. The FISD makes is seem there is only one way to go to get into thus legion.. Either 'ATA or MTK' for me so either a frap or capachino. No dunkins. I can see how my armor set this time around didn't make it through. I realise that now after doing a ton of reasech on the armor however, some sets out there look and check out okay.. I just Dont understand the bias.. Since the 501st is a charitable organization.. I thought I would see more charitable attitudes out of everyone on here.. It just seems like a huge business drama organization like the rest of this world..

Note: no sarcasm or harshness here.. I'm just tying to understand this. Alright, I see what you're saying, however then why is MTK acceptable? Is cast from AP armor (from what I read), yet its okay with most if not all FISD. techinacally everything is cast from something is it not? Are all the reputable armor makers on FISD such as AP, ATA, etc, did they all make their own molds from studies they conducted? I'm just trying to see what all is going on.. I am new:) Thanks!

I too had trouble uploading images! load them into photshop and save them for web (50kb) or so.. youll be able to post a bunch! your inbox has 10mb of space for images on FISD. that one image may have filled it up!

Thanks for the words! I feel I have the experience after building one set and doing plenty of research now while waiting for things to fall into place, I feel I can build another set with out issue, especially with the guidance from FISD.

Alright guys. Also i know MTK comes with alot of extras for helmet construction which will help!

does MTK fit like ATA armor?

I believe it is what is used to connect the TD to the belt

Okay, Its a recast of ATA. made by the guy who took over CTM Props just recently. I know they have a bad name on FISD, but i wanted to see what everyone thought before i posted the maker. The former maker of CTM Props had a bad rep, but this is the new makers work.. wanted to check. any further thoughts now? This armor, with an ATA Bucket? Ive looked at MTK, may go there, ATA is good too, but id rather not wait half the year, rather get a bucket of his.

Looking at this armor set, would love to know if it looks okay before purchasing! Input would be great! does it look correct, accurate? nothing wonky? thanks!

Okay, I may go with MTK. I checked in with him and he said a couple weeks he will be selling again. What extras are included? Pretty good to know if I'm going to put in another $100 or so

Okay thank you, I've inquired AP, ATA and MTK debating on prices now. Would it be looked down upon to have a set of CTM submitted? From other buyers of CTM I've heard its decent, making EIB often and $100-$150 less on the damage.

Still can't find any mtk links to armor sales.. Really wanting to look at mtk armor

So youre recommending CTM armor? I'm still debating.. If CTM is recast of ap, would that be an issue with the 501st?
