  1. Not at all. Actually, my first thought was to extend both, but that would mean modifying two molds instead of just the one. I may still do that when I get the chance.
  2. This is how the finished extended kidney plate looked in my approval photos...
  3. What do you call Imperial issued underwear? . . . . (Wait for it...) . . . . Little shorts for a stormtrooper! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  4. It's definitely the right size, but is there a downside to using this? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  5. I found this tonight while shopping at Lowe's. The package reads: The Keeney Manufacturing Company & Duracraft Plastics 700WW S TRAP FOR KITCHEN OR LAVATORY The model number on the package is 25031. The tube measures 1-1/2" x 1-3/8" x 18". Material is white polypropylene. Cost was $6.58. A Sterling bolt slides into the tube with no problem. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

    Ouch!

Even with the Rubies armor, nobody deserves that!
  7. I just got around to doing this. Worked like a charm. Thanks! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  8. Unfortunately, the dancing was better than the armor... http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Twerking-Stormtroopers-Take-Over-Times-Square-ToysRUs-for-Force-Friday-324326041.html
  9. If you can nest parts together strategically, you can get a whole suit out of 1-1/2 sheets. It took some practice to be able to do that. It shouldn't take more than two sheets at any rate. Do you have a Grainger store or something similar nearby? The Grainger part number for the sheet is 3GXZ9. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  10. I don't think you could get a helmet out of 12" x 12". The faceplate and cap-and-back are both deep pulls, so you will need the extra material to stretch. My vacuum forming frame is for 24" x 24". The pull area is more like 22" x 22". You may be able to go a little smaller, but not much. I get my plastic from an industrial supply company called Grainger. You can get a 48" x 96" sheet of 0.080" HIPS for about $64 and cut it into whatever size you need. You can avoid shipping charges if you can pick it up at your local branch. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  11. I cut reliefs in the mould from the problem corners to the pour spout. Problem solved! Side-by-side with the real thing... Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  12. Magazine housing. I had some trapped air in the top of the mould. I'll have to figure out how to relieve that. Otherwise, it turned out pretty well. I left about 3/4"-1" solid material in the bottom of the well. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  13. My senior football season , we gave our high school its only undefeated season, winning the state championship with a record of 14-0 in 1982... So, TK-14082 Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

  22. I found some aluminum tubing in the same dimensions. http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?pid=4360&step=4&showunits=inches&id=71&top_cat=0
  23. I think I will want to flip the aperture the other way. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  24. Last night, I made molds for the rear sight, trigger guard, front sight guard, and end cap catch. Is there a preference as to whether the "100" or "280" aperture is vertical on the rear sight?
  25. I had a few bubbles, but I seem to be getting better at not making them or getting them to the top. The cap on the far left was the last one I cast. Here, I used Milliput to fill the voids. Good as new! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
