:Raises hand: I can answer this. :) Good question and I hope I can clarify. This is a dedicated forum for GT people with their group FOTK builds, but by policy it's open to all members. We can make it 501st only if you want, but we can't make it GT only. The reason why is that detachments exist to share information. There is nothing that will be discussed that classifies as "GT only", but perhaps there may be that is 501st only. The benefit of having it open to the detachment is twofold: 1. It allows people outside of GT to benefit from GT's experience in doing this project. 2. It allows GT folk to get advice from the best of the best TK experts world-wide. The only time anything on FISD is detachment only is - with very few exceptoins - about election stuff, just like on the Garrison Titan boards the only thing we have at GT only is election stuff. For build threads there have ever only been 2 reasons we had stuff private: 1. Discussing armor pricing. 2. When the first Alpha 75 kits came out before TFA, everyone was under an NDA not to talk about it until after the film came out. Not sure why build threads would ever be garrison only? Even in the old days before FISD, most garrisons had open build forums. Hope that helps :)

Makes sense. I think going TLJ will be excellent. I also recommend now that we have L2/L3 for these costumes, that you go L3 from the start. It will be far easier to do it the first time around. Also, if people feel a little flush, you can get some extra bells, yoke, and helmet and have do the TLJ-Executioner in the future, which is a nice plus. Note that the TLJ Phasma is WIP but should wrap up in January when we get more photos. Right now I've gotten no pushback on the text, but with the holidays and whatnot. In any event, the CRL will be done by the time you order.

FYI, in addition to armor you should probably also consider group orders for: 1. Gaskets (Mrs. TK4205 is local for fabric) or TK4205 for rubber 2. Belt Boxes (will you sew your own? Else TrooperBay has good ones 3. How many will to pauldrons (TK4205 again, for local) 4. Ammo pouches? 5. Are you going to do a local run of vests, or buy them? 6. Gloves & Boots (likely Imperial Boots?) 7. Neckseals (2 good US based vendors) 8. Accurate holsters (R2Dan) 9. Undersuit (seems everyone is going to one vendor) Have you reached out for the soft parts yet? May be worth it to see if you can get a group discount.
