  1. Looks nice and neat. Magnets are strong enough not to bump off while trooping or holstering the blaster?
  2. Gotcha! Will be interesting to see what Preston comes up with. I really should look at amending mine. I'm sure it's just a matter of hollowing out more of the resin counter. Just too many other projects on at the moment, never making it back to the E-11
  3. No worries. As Carl (Dougal) says, certainly didn't want to scare you off - hence why I made sure I answered your question Feel free to post on anybody's thread. That's what forums and discussions are all about. Just keep it in relation to their build - comments/criticism/questions. We love build threads here, so would encourage you to start one of your own. Either just to show off and brag about your skills or ask for help when you need it. Good luck with your build!
  4. LOL! Ahh, the hollowing out in the pic above is the mag housing. The counter was complete as is? Gotcha.
  5. You should start a new thread of your own, or ask questions in the general section. Please don't hijack other members threads. However to answer your question, check out either ThrawnsGuard build or Twnbrother (sorry guys, can't remember which one of you did it). Or wait a week or so for me to unveil how I did mine. Or maybe Preston will reveal more on his.
  6. Ok, so now I'm thinking Prescott and Colinstevenbird are the same person - or father/son?? Is that the D94 counter you put in there? I've just completed the very same mod
  7. Good start. Getting the holes lined up, even using a template, is the first challenge. Great job
  8. This is mine. Just scrap perspex manually cut with a jigsaw and dremel:
  9. 1. Click on photo 2. click on IMG code. It will flash up "copied" 3. Right click (or double finger on a Mac), 'paste' into you post 3 Presto!
  10. And to put it into pictures: Full kit - Approved --------- Conversion kit + Hasbro Toy = Converted Toy - Not approved --------- plus ------ equals ------
  11. Hey Brandon. Unfortunately you'll need to remove your Counter and Cylinders from the Blaster and add a D-ring for ESB approval For level two certification (if applicable): Folding stock (does not need to function). No ammo counter shall be present. D-ring mounted on the rear. Sterling based blasters have the correct M-38 or M-19 style scope. The M-19 scope is preferred. No power cylinders on the magazine housing. I would also look at straightening up your amor - thighs, ab/kidney joins, etc to give the DO's a better look at you in all your glory. Good luck!
  12. Hasbro blasters are not allowed, not even converted Hasbros. Doopy kits are not considered conversions You don't have to look much further than the current Centurion applications. First 5 (I didn't bother looking any further) are ALL doopy kits
  13. Always good to have more T-track options. Blaster looks great all over, Steve. I was going a different route with placing a cover inside the receiver where you have the electronics board, but that looks quite cool. Might borrow that idea and see how it looks in my new toy.
  14. Um, Doopy Doos must be the most widely built blaster in the detachment, most certainly Centurion accepted if built half right
  15. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/48-posting-images-in-threads-2015/ This is one of many topics about photobucket. Although, all I do is once the photo is showing in photobucket, click in the IMG code on the right hand side, come back to your Whitearmor post and rightclick/paste. It will appear as a URL address as your typing your post, but will show as a big photo when you submit the post Oh, your link above doesn't work either
  16. A couple of other pics from the troop. Me and Vader pulling into the show ground after the ride part: And 2 clowns going for a ride in the Cha Cha (not sure what the ride is called in other parts of the world, but I'm sure it's out there). They were squished after the ride!
  17. I've drilled 3 pipes now. One 3mm thick PVC Electrical conduit, One 3mm aluminium and most recently a 2mm aluminium. Although tricky to line up the holes, even with a drill press, the softer material was easy to tidy up as you went. Certainly don't envy your attempt at the steel pipe.
  18. Yep. Plenty of builds, EIB and Centurion with MTK. And some newish enhancements to make the armour even better than it was when I bought it.
  19. Thanks Brian. Have made small steps, but still waiting on a couple of key items before major updates. Still tossing around a few ideas, then tossing them out the window.... Hopefully not too long
  20. A couple of pics here Brian http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35263-convoy-for-cancer-australia/
  21. The annual convoy raising funds for cancer families has about 400 motorbikes and 400 trucks travel from one side of town to the other. The 501st got asked to troop, but I wanted to ride in the convoy too. Combine the two! Kitted as a snow trooper so I could sit and bend my legs properly I painted my helmet white (plasti-dip) and made a visor screen out of insect wire, painted white and black. My buddy, made a facemark out of a kids mask and a shortened cape for the ride - rest of costumes as per 501st. We then kitted up properly for the 'troop' after the ride. Was a bunch of fun. The looks on peoples faces lining the roads! What? Has no one seen a snow trooper and Vader ride motorbikes before....
  22. Interesting. Haven't seen that done before. PVC and Acrylic pipe would have been another option
  23. ^^ What jkno said. It was decided that these items just fell off, as evidenced by those pics of the glue still there, so all blasters must have them. Just as there are slight errors with armour (no stripes, etc) the CRL doesn't allow for those 'mistakes' or 'accidents'.
