Thanks everyone I knew we were doing something wrong with the miracle grow! Lol I've seen the trooper bay video. It is very good. I thought I had a handle on the how to threads. That's all I've been doing since I placed my order. It's different when the armor is sitting in front of me lol. It will be fine. Just slightly intimidating. Measuring three times and cutting once! My big brown box showed up and I couldn't have been more excited! The shiny armor is beautiful! As most do... my excitement turned to... WTH do I do now? LOL I am going to try to pick up the rest of the tools I need to start rough trims tomorrow I am sure I will be asking many questions......

Good luck in your journey! I am also starting out. The advice and guidance everyone will give here is priceless ! Everyone is very knowledgable. There is plenty to keep you occupied on these forums. Plenty to read and learn. My ATA wait should be over anyday now and time really did fly by while trying to absorb all of the info here.

For a couple of dollars you could try setting the helmet over one of these for a couple of days. It might pull the vapor smell out.. ---------- I have never tried it so im just taking a shot in the dark.

I dont have my full armor set yet. This is just a project helmet that I built. Im not exactly sure if I'll be doing all of this when I recieve my ATA big brown box. LOL I have to do something to keep my mind occupied until that day comes.
