  1. Just do what ever makes you happy.
  2. Rotate it 45 degrees to the right. There should be a bit of a cut out for the bend of the arm. Plus flexing your arm like that will not help.
  3. I also did the same on my AP kit. No problems with approval. I was also told by a Centurion that it would be OK for EIB. So keep calm and dremel on.
  4. Myself personally with Eastbay have not had any problems with bleed through. But as stated, I did wash it a couple of time prior to wearing it with my armor.
  5. I have both the Eastbay and a set of Starter under suit. I personally like the Eastbay better. It fits a bit looser and in my opinion breathes better then the Starter. Can't compare it to Under Armour seeing as I don't have any.
  6. Also keep in mind you need to do this with your bucket and neck seal on. This will help cut down on the feedback. Doing this without you helmet on is like hitting your head against the wall.
  7. OK Soren, here is a picture of how I attached my amp and ICOMM. I just used industrial strength Velcro to attach both so I can remove them to clean the inside once in a while.
  8. There should be 3 bumps or dents on each piece. That is a good place to start. They should all line up in a perfect world.
  9. I heard that there is a place here on FISD that has several stock trading card backgrounds. I've been looking all over and seem to locate them. Could some one please point me in the right direction? Thanks.
  10. Here is how I run it. I use voice activated with the amp Velcroed to the chest plate with the speaker pointed out, tied into my ICOMM static burst emulator. But everyone has their own method. Just play around and see what works best for you. Keep in mind, your apartment is smaller then most places you will be at and there will always be more people and more ambient noise at troops.
  11. Check out Eastbay. Good price and comfortable. ---------- I have 2 sets and have never had a problem yet.
  12. Just find a quiet area and do a step by step up of the volume till you get the feedback then back down till it stops. I have the 12 Acker in my chest and have marked the amp with a mark to give me a starting point. I can depend alot on the atmosphere that you are in also. Plus PTT or voice activated makes a huge difference.
  13. HAHAHA, plus this sentence in his description, "ABS plastic is not as tough as fiberglass, and if it cracked or damaged, repairs are difficult, costly, and rarely return the plastic to its original state." I can repair ABS 10 times faster and with better results then laying a new layer of fiberglass and having to repaint the whole thing.
  14. Very nice looking.
  15. Just go ahead and get the 100. You will mess up a few while constructing and then it is always wise to have extras for modifications and repairs. So when you think you have enough, just get extras.
  16. So I got to troop with this for the first time yesterday and could hardly tell that it was in my holster compared to my resin build.
  17. The #24 snaps are the ones that most use. I might suggest getting the hand crimp for them.
  18. Just got this from Fed-Ex. it was classified as a B-grade, not sure why, looks great to me for trooping. This is my new go to trooper blaster over my resin kit, 10 times lighter. And for the $110 price tag, can't go wrong.
  19. Perfect timing to see this. I am just about to lose one of mine. Gonna make a few extra and keep them in my tote.
  20. I'm 5' 11" 200 lb with a 35" waist. I did have to make some shims for the sides of the ab/kidney connection. You can get all the Velcro/webbing/elastic at a Joann or Hobby Lobby. Strapping is all up to a individual preference.
  21. Yes, I just finished mine and got approved last week. If you ever built a model car or plane you can do this. Here is one of my submission pics. Mark is a good guy to deal with as well.
  22. I have one so does Trooper Tim. Send me or him A PM.
  23. LOOOOL, I see what you did there. Took me a few ticks to see my pic. Nice one mate. I like it.
