  1. Hey Carey! Great looking build brother! A few things I notice that will help your overall look and help you get ready for Centurion. Keep in mind these may or may not be issues so don't make any changes until instructed to do so by the DL. Your shoulder bells are sticking out a bit. Some return edge trimming might be in order to get them to lay more flush with your biceps. Also, hard to tell with the sun wash out if there is cover strips on the backs of your calves. It might be from walking and posing without adjusting but your left thigh is slightly overlapping your sniper plate. Your blue ab buttons are the wrong color blue. they should be French blue, a lighter blue than what you currently have on them. Your drop boxes are sucked up under your belt edge. You could drop them a bit so they are even with the bottom of the belt edge(or a pencil widths gap is ok too) Your holster placement is a little too far back and a little too high. I'll attach a photo from the archives that shows proper placement. Your brow trim looks really low to me but that just might be a matter of personal taste. Also I would paint your thermal detonator screws black for accuracy sake. Also hard to tell from the photos if you have the elastic bands on the shoulder bridges. And one last thing, your thigh ammo pack looks a little long, meaning the curved edge should not pass the ridge corner on the calf. I'll post a photo of that as well. Good luck with your application! I wish you the best!
  2. Hey Maxim! Fantastic looking build brother! A few things I notice that will help your overall look and get you ready for Centurion........These are just observations and may or not be an issue so don't make any changes until instructed to do so by the DL. I would, if you can, try to drop your thighs a little bit. If you look from the back your thighs are very close to your butt plate and there's a lot of gap at the knee. Dropping your thighs will help even out your look. Also I would color over the logo on your under armor pants with a black sharpie so it doesn't show. On the right side of your helmet the front most tube stripe has snuck into the teeth area. I would pull it out as you have enough total stripes to be able to remove it. Also your ear bumps, on the right you painted the rear most bump, on the left you painted the second bump in from the back. They need to be painted the same on both sides, either rear most or second ones in. Everything else looks great! Good luck!
  3. Congrats Hans! Well done! Welcome to the ranks!
  4. Off topic Hans, but I've always been fascinated with Norway and have always wanted to visit. I'm sure it's just ho hum to you because you live there but it is definitely on my list of places I'd like to visit.(especially Trondheim) I've had Norwegian Elkhounds for 30 years and I think that's what's led to my love of Norway and wanting to visit. Jealous that you live in such a beautiful country! Here's my most recent elkie, Sadie
  5. Hey!!! You stole my Centurion number! Looking great Hans! Congrats on the weight loss and being able to get rid of those shims! A few things I notice that may need to be corrected and may or may not affect Centurion but would be good for accuracy sake........ Your ears on your helmet (the "S" portion) look really FAT. They might need some trimming down. Your thigh pack rivets need to be painted white. Also your Thermal Detonator screws should be painted black. Your drop boxes need to be moved so they are even with the belt edge.(Left one looks good, right side needs to be moved.) You may also be asked to add the wire to the DLT-19 if it's not already there. Hard to tell from the photos. The satin or flat black on your vocoder should be gloss black and your tube stripes look a little fat to me. I think some touch up paint on your ab/kidney rivets and a good wax and shine for presentation sake would be good also.(but not required) Looks like you've been busy trooping with all that wear and tear! And you will eventually get a Centurion number but it won't be 123 Good luck my friend! I wish you the best!
  6. Not much to say Jonathan. Lookin' pretty sweet! I think maybe your tears on your helmet could be filled in a bit more as far as the paint goes. That's really all I notice. Good luck brother! You'll be Centurion before ya know it!
  7. Fantastic looking build Takashi! Another TM. Drooooool. Loving all the submissions for EIB lately! Let's get those numbers up! Not much to comment on. You did a great job! Other than the ab plate that was mentioned above this is an easy pass for EIB. A couple things I notice that will help your overall look and get you ready for Centurion is your right side drop box needs to be even with the belt edge .In your "arm raised" photo it's in the correct position but it must've moved in the interim between photos of your "right side detail" shot. And your calves flare out pretty significantly at the bottom.(More noticeable from the back) If you can, I would try to tighten them up. Your back plate is overlapping your kidney plate. Your back should rest on or just slightly above your kidney plate with as minimal gap as possible. The sight rail on your blaster might be a little high and there should be a hole on the receiver body that the front bend of the rail goes into. And hard to tell from the photos but your thermal detonator screws look like Phillips head. They should be slotted screws. Keep in mind, most of what I've mentioned is for moving forward to Centurion. You are definitely EIB ready. Everything looks really great! Well done! I wish you the best!
  8. Also missing is photos of gloves and hand guards I think your main waist ammo belt is a bit high also. It should sit directly under the staging area for the large button group. And maybe it's the lighting but I don't see any frown screen on your helmet.
  9. Hey Dimo! Nice to see a TKC! Your helmet is a beauty and your overall weathering is fantastic! Some photos from the check list are missing. Abdomen details, cod and butt plate attachment, interior strapping, neck seal and holster attachment,.......... Just a few things moving forward to Centurion and a few things that will help your overall look......There's a lot of bunching in your under armor(back of knees, upper thigh area) You may want to go a size smaller to get a tighter look. Your left thigh when viewed from the back sits noticeably higher than the left. And your butt plate looks very small to me compared to your size especially when viewed from the sides. I think your biceps could come down a bit to get rid of some of the elbow gap. Your drop box strapping should be elastic if it isn't and it looks wider than it should be. The drop boxes could also come up a bit. Any gap wider than a pencil is too much. Overall a fantastic build. Very nice indeed. I wish you the best! Good luck trooper!
  10. And here's the rest! The Aurebesh on my arm cog needs to be done again, it fades a lot.......Vader, Yoda and Han and Chewie were all done about 5 years ago. Sorry for the bad lighting, it makes them look faded but they aren't.
  11. My first troop was at our local Children's hospital visiting the sick kids (still one of my favorite troops) I was VERY nervous. I had just finished my Staff Officer costume, joined the Legion and went to CVI. It was a whirlwind. I was nervous meeting everyone for the first time and was unsure how the process worked but I was welcomed with open arms and I now consider my squad mates my closet friends in the world. I have made such great friends and had so many great experiences since joining the Legion. I am very proud to be a member and it is something I'm very passionate about.
  12. This is my most recent tattoo. It is me in my TK armor from a photo our county newspaper took of me at a local con. I have several others that I'll post when I get a chance to take some shots of them. I added the Legion logo and my TK number to the design and picked the background color. I also plan on getting the EIB and Centurion badges right underneath in the open area by my ankle.
  13. Here is a reference for the holster, Terry.
  14. Terry, I am merely pointing out areas of possible improvements. Please don't make any hasty decisions and wait to see what the DL has to say. You are definitely worthy of EIB
  15. I do see what Matt is saying about your shims. Some trimming and blending might be in order to clean up your overall look. I also just noticed that your TD clips are a bit too far in from the end caps. There should be 1/8 inch or less gap between the clips and the caps.
  16. Hey Terry! Looks like a great build! A few things I notice moving forward that may or may not be an issue......I think you need to take some more return edge out of your left shoulder bell. If you notice from your pics it is sticking out and not sitting flush with your bicep like the right one is. It is even more noticeable in the pic of your "left side detail" photo. There is considerable gap on both sides of your ab/kidney sections. You may need to add shims to remedy this. More than 1/2 gap inch is too distracting. Your helmet looks great. Your "S" trim on the back of the helmet has a slight gap. This may or may not be an issue, also I am seeing a lot of yellowish inner Hovi tips lately....don't know what that's about. I would like to have seen a right side and back side helmet photo as well. Your canvas belt looks really wide to me.Ideally it should be no wider than 3 inches but 3 1/4 is acceptable. Also your holster is hanging a bit low and may need to be brought up some, or rather I should say the placement is correct but the brown strips are a bit long. Some thermal detonator photos would be nice to see as well.It looks like your TD screws are silver, if going for Centurion these will need to be slotted pan head screws painted black. And your TD clips may need to be moved closer to the end caps. There should be 1/8 inch or less gap between the clips and the end caps.Your "Han" snap on the right side ab my need to come up a bit. It looks a little lower than it should be.I really enjoyed looking over your photos. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your pics. As always, don't make any changes until instructed to do so by the DL. I wish you all the best! Good luck Trooper!
  17. Sharp looking armor Jennifer! Congratulations!
