  1. Woot woot! ATA all the way! Looking great Matt! Easy pass for EIB. Other than the TD issues that Ian mentioned the only thing I notice is the cover strips on your calves cover the ridge on the the back top of the calf. Those will need trimming. Everything else looks fantastic. Good luck with your application! I wish you the best!
  2. Hey Merritt! Great looking build brother! A few things I notice moving forward that may need correcting. The paint on some of your ab buttons is a little generous and may need to be tightened up a little bit. Your holster placement is a little too far towards your TD. It should be closer to the belt end. You may also want to move the elastic bands on your shoulders so they wrap the bridges to the back plate. Your drop boxes would look a little better if you dropped them just a hair so they aren't so tight up against the belt which is making them pop outwards a bit. Also the white paint on your crotch snaps and cod rivet can be scraped off. These typically were not painted. Good luck with your app! I wish you the best!
  3. I have the same problem with my forearms. Small at the wrist and wider at the top. I had to put a good bit of foam inside to fit them properly. It didn't affect either of my applications.
  4. Hey Frank! Looking sweeeeeet brother! I have an ATA myself. Great kit. A few things I notice moving forward to Centurion and to help your overall look. Some things I mention will need fixing, others may or may not need fixing so please wait for Steve's input before you make any changes. Overall your build looks fantastic! The strips on the backs of your calves will need to be trimmed down so they don't overlap the ridge at the top of the calf, like THIRD PIC. Same for the backs of your thighs. The cover strip is covering the ridge on the back of the thigh, those will need to be trimmed up as well.......Your hand painting on your helmet is fantastic. Well done! The traps and tears look amazing. The gray on your ears might be a little generous as far as coming out away from the edges a bit much. We'll see what Steve says. Also, I don't think it's necessary but you may want to trim up your sniper plate (the portion that rises above the front of the calf) a bit to make it look a little sharper likeSECOND PIC. Next, it looks like you trimmed a little too much off of the control panel on your thermal detonator. Either that or your pipe is too long. It should look like FIRST PIC. If you want to be super accurate, change out your thermal detonator screws to slotted pan head screws painted black. Also you will need the white elastic bands that connect the shoulder bridges to the back plate. Last but not least, if you do plan to go for Centurion, you will for sure need to get an accurate E-11. (Hyperfirm, Doopy's resin, etc.) Good luck with your application! I wish you the best!
  5. Hey Christoph! Great looking build sir! Just a few things I notice moving forward to Centurion and to help your overall look. Nothing that will affect EIB I don't think. Just remember, don't make any changes until instructed to do so by the DL. The holster rubbing has already been mentioned......The decals you have in your traps and tears seem a bit small for the space. It would be nice to see those areas filled in all the way to the edges. Also, if you'd like to get rid of the gap in your "S" trim, just run it so it meets under the vocoder so the gap doesn't show. Blaster looks a little rough but I don't know much about RS blasters so I'll let someone else chime in on that. On your ear bumps it looks like you painted in between the bumps instead of actually painting the bumps, this may need to be corrected. Good luck with your application! I wish you the best!
  6. Hey Patrick! Looking good brother! Definitely clean up that thigh where the holster has been rubbing. Other than that the only things I notice is a slight bit of overlap of your back plate and kidney plate, the decal or "painted" area on your rear traps on your helmet don't fill in the entire space. Front traps could be a little larger also but maybe I'm just being too picky. Also see if you can get your belt a little tighter to eliminate or close the gaps on your sides towards the bottom. And you might want to switch your "S" trim on your helmet so the gap is under the vocoder so it doesn't show. Also if you plan for Centurion you will need the elastic bands on your shoulders (connecting bridges to back plate) Your bridges look a little high arched(when viewed from the sides) may or may not be an issue but it's something I noticed. And on your ear bumps it looks like you painted in between the bumps instead of painting the actual bumps.Good luck with your application! I wish you all the best! I realized after I posted that this was the Centurion section so I should have posted this in your EIB thread.
  7. Hey Marcus! Looking sweet brother! Maybe raise your forearms a hair to get rid of a little more elbow gap and adjust your thigh pack(although not necessary) so it covers the ridge on the bottom of your thigh. Good luck! I wish you the best with your application!
  8. Top notch Jason! Easy pass for EIB and for Centurion for that matter. The paint on your ab buttons looks a little generous but other than that, super sharp. Good luck!
  9. Congrats Maxim! Well done! Welcome to the ranks! Looking forward to seeing your Centurion application.
  10. Congrats Jonathan!!! Hard work that has paid off! Well done! Welcome to the ranks brother!
  11. Not a rule Carey, just an observation. It may be perfectly fine, it was just something that I noticed.
  12. I wasn't sure exactly what it was either. Just saw some white popping out in that spot. I had a logo on my UA pants in the same spot and had to color over it.
  13. Ok, well I was making my comment based on information Steve provides in his critiques from applications.
  14. No disrespect Mathias but this quote from Steve from another EIB thread confirms that the ear bumps need to be painted the same on both sides of the helmet. "As long as you have it the same on both sides of your helmet and they are not on the front bumps, I am fine with the way they are."
