  1. Great looking build Brenton! A few things that may need to be addressed......There is a lot of gap between your shoulder bells and you chest plate. Your left side/right side detail photos are a bit blurry, hard to tell from your right side detail photo but there may be too much overlap of the ab/kidney, you may need to retake them to be sure. The paint on your ab buttons may be a bit generous leaving the button area and may need to be sharpened up a bit. And I think maybe your eyes could be trimmed up a bit more. Also your ear bumps are painted incorrectly. The last bumps(towards the back of the helmet) should be black, not the second ones in. Elastic straps on shoulder bridges could be a tad thicker and a little too much bronzing on your blaster scope. Many of these things don't affect EIB but moving forward to Centurion might be things to attend to. As always, don't make any changes until instructed to do so by the DL. Great work overall! Best of luck trooper!
  2. Since most if not all of these photos are from your EIB thread, I'll wait for the updated photos to comment. Standing by!
  3. Great photos from your first troop as EIB! Thanks for sharing!
  4. You are correct, they are listed in the CRL for Centurion requirement, I was pointing out that if you choose to go for Centurion (which I'm sure you will be ) that they need to be there. As far as the blaster scope, I recommend dry brushing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drybrush
  5. Thank for the compliment sir! I really enjoy looking at everyone's armor and builds and offering my feedback. I still think maybe you could extend your frown paint a bit. Here is a pic from the Whitearmor archives. . I do see where you are being mindful of the bits of white gap at the bottom and top but I think you've left a little too much. I could be entirely wrong though! So we'll wait and see what Steve has to say. As far as the belt, it may not even be an issue so I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you're told to correct it.
  6. Great looking build Marcus! A few things I notice moving forward. Your tube stripes may be too high on the cheeks......WAY too much bronzing on your blaster scope (will not affect EIB or Centurion) but for accuracy sake. Also there may be too much gap on the split rivet side (left side) between the ab and kidney. And your forearms could come down just a scootch to be a bit closer to the wrists to cover the glove bunching. Belt corners may need to be trimmed just a bit more. And hard to tell from the photos if you have the elastic bands that attach the back plate to the shoulder bridges and also a photo showing the inner drop boxes. Overall, well done! Good luck!
  7. Awesome build Jonathan! Looks great! Really the only thing I notice that might be an issue is the paint job on your frown/teeth. They should be filled in all the way to the edges. And your belt may need to come down to cover the gap between your kidney and butt plate. Also the opening/gap on the right side of your ab/kidney looks a bit wide. Other than that it looks fantastic! Well done! As always, please don't make any changes until instructed to do so by the DL. Best wishes and good luck!
  8. Additional photos look great! I would scrape the white paint off of your cod rivet and your butt snaps. These typically were not painted.
  9. Nice suit Raphael! Looks like a fantastic build. Just a couple things if you plan on moving forward to Centurion. Your belt corners may need to be trimmed a bit more and on the pic of the left side of your helmet it looks as if you don't have any frown screen. Maybe it pulled back away from the front tooth while you were gluing it? Also your right side drop box needs to be moved so it's even with the edge of the belt. And you may need to take a bit more return edge off the elbow portion of your forearms. A few photos I would add are close ups of the front and back of your thermal detonator, thermal detonator screw detail (slotted screws painted black) and your cod rivet from the outside. The only other thing I would do personally if it were my helmet is sand/clean up the eyes. They look a bit wavy and rough. Best wishes and good luck my friend!
  10. Fantastic build Lee! Well done! There are a lot of required photos missing as you mentioned but from what I see, not much to say. I would scootch your drop boxes over a hair so they are even with the belt edge and your Hengstler counter looks to be mounted a bit high on your blaster. I look forward to seeing the rest of your photos! Good luck!
  11. The ESB TK CRL doesn't state that bell straps are required, but for accuracy sake they should be there. They don't necessarily have to "show" or be as "obvious" as stunt TK straps .I had no problems with my GML approving my TK with visible bell straps. It might just be personal taste with your GML Thomas. If he told you to change it for approval then you have done so. But when it comes down to EIB and Centurion the Detachment Leader will instruct on the proper configuration.
  12. Fantastic looking armor Adam! Well done! I won't revisit the ear bumps. The only things I notice moving forward to Centurion are black rubber chemical gloves, if your drop boxes have the inner box. The left box looks a tad low and not even with the belt edge. Hard to see in the photos weather or not you have the white elastic straps on the shoulder bridges. And a bit too much bronzing on the blaster scope. Your TD needs to be seated on your belt better. The brackets are sticking up. Just little detail things. Overall very ,very nice. Makes me want an ESB suit. Good luck! (Should be an easy pass) I wish you the best!
  13. I use Meguiar's liquid Cleaner Wax. It takes out all the little scuffs/scratches and gets rid of dirt and grime and leaves my armor smoother than a baby's bum.
  14. Thank you sir! I luckily found a 1/16 aluminum bar at the Depot for my detonator brackets which made bending and placing so much easier. But when I had to make a scope rail I hit 4 Depots with no luck. I couldn't find any 1/16 so I had to get 1/8 and it was a pain to make that little bend by hand in the front of the rail but I got it as close as I could.
  15. Blaster looks good. I would tone down the weathering on the scope. Hyperfirms are notorious for too much scope weathering. Also, here is a holster placement reference. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/2469-anhholsterplacement01/
  16. I had to make a lot if changes over my basic build to get to Centurion level. I am merely pointing out areas of possible opportunity should you choose to try for Centurion. Please don't take what anyone says negatively. We are all here to help.
  17. Hi Gary! Looks like a nice build. A few things I notice that might need attention moving forward to Centurion. Your lower under armor(pants) is a bit bunchy in spots. You may want to go a size smaller to get a tighter look. You have a lot of excessive return edge all over your armor. Especially noticeable on your kidney plate when viewed from the back. It has a bumpy/wavy appearance along the top ridge. This may need to be cleaned up. Also your sniper plate could use a bit of trimming and sharpening up for the portion the sticks up above the shin. I also noticed the back thigh ridges have been completely cut out into an upside down U shape, this may or may not be an issue The gap between the ab and kidney flares open as it goes towards the bottom. This may need to be corrected. Also your drop boxes should be even with the belt edge. And I think your holster needs to be moved over to the left a bit. The holster placement is also a bit high. You may need to trim the drop strips and lower the placement. Looking at your helmet, the gray on the last teeth positions should not have a gap, it should be continuous. The kidney split rivets are in the correct position but the split rivets on your ab plate are too far forward. They should be 10mm from the seam line. The cover strip on your right thigh is too long at the top. I would trim lower so it is flush with the thigh. Your canvas belt has a lot of fraying. Trimming the frays and watering down some white Elmer's glue and applying with a brush will help control it. Your thermal detonator screws are correct but need to be painted black. I would also scrape the white paint of the ab snap and the cod rivet, These typically were not painted. As always, please don't make any corrections until instructed to do so by the DL! Good luck sir! I wish you al, the best!
