  1. Looks good to me. Good job Allan. As Shawn said, a couple of little things, but they won't stop your approval I shouldn't think.
  2. Then aint we both content Lachlan.
  3. You didn't seem so discerning when you recast AP.....
  4. Mate, for all the trouble it's been, it has come up a treat! Glad to been of assistance
  5. It's an off-white. But it has been sitting in a dusty shed for some while. I'll be running it thru the machine a few more times yet. And I just sprayed a sample of it with the white shoe dye paint and there isn't that great a color difference.
  6. I recently came across some heavy duty webbing at work, and when I saw it I though it looked perfect for the smaller width ROTJ belt. It is 60mm wide and over twice the thickness of standard polypropylene webbing. I'll be replacing my current 50mm belt with this stuff this week, and will get some more pics up then. Let me know what you think.
  7. Like Paul said, it looks like it's just a matter of changing the Hovis. The rest looks pretty sharp.
  8. Thanks again everyone I'm spanning more than just the original Trilogy. I now have the complete set.
  9. Thanks everyone. I've been at Sales/Production Meetings the last 2 days so although I could log in and browse, I couldn't touch Well not without having my phone thrown out the window. So thanks again everyone, it has taken longer than I originally planned, with the delay in shipping of the trim, but it has been worth the wait. Cheers J
  10. I can do that Armando. I wasn't sure if it was satin or matte, so playerd it safe with the satin Thanks Pete. Yeah thats the look I was after , and I wanted to paint the ab buttons the same way, but wasn't sure it would be granted EIB, even tho there are suits with that pattern in the movie.
  11. Going for the trifecta now. TE2 armour, TE ROTJ helmet. Bad hair day...
  12. New pics with calves, thighs and ab dropped. Biceps are also as low as they can go now. I think it looks much better - thanks Pete Time to bother Terrell again ...
  13. Thanks XO, but don't put that rubber stamp away yet A week ago everything was brown. We've just come out of a serious heat wave with temps up to 129F. Then we had 2 inches of rain over the weekend.
  14. Thanks all Everyone in town has come to accept what I am now, all 150 of them Tho this pic from 12 months ago had them wondering...
  15. Yep, I can see what you're talking about Pete. I have shimmed the calves so they sit down over the boots properly now, which will allow me to drop the thighs and ab now as well. I'll try to get some shots side by side for comparison.
  16. Thanks Paul. After 9 costumes the wife should have the hang of it by now. Going to have to train one of the kiddies up so I can get a pick of Amanda and I together.
  17. I can see what you're looking at but I think it might just be a reflection. Nothin' but black
  18. I have made all the swap outs on my ANH AP kit for this version. ESB handplate with ab buttons, fly etc. TE2 helmet Blaster Hangin' with the Dark Lord
  19. You got it!! Left greave is a little small, may need to replace it later. And the shoulder bridges are a bit on the short side I think. Was thinking of maybe lengthening them by half again so they sit closer to the top of the back plate. Time to see what the Deployment Officer thinks
  20. Thanks Shawn. I'm quite happy with it. As for the shoulder straps - velcro front and back. Though I am wondering if my straps will be long enough to get the right look.
  21. Yeah, I wasn't quite sure. I thought maybe the trim would go round the whole piece in one go. Doesn't matter, it's on. Planning on getting the boots tomorrow, finish some of the strapping, then it's time to get it on.
  22. My rubber trim arrived today , so it's about time I got off my fat a$$ here. I'm trying to work out the best way to put the trim on, and was wondering if there is any particular place - for each section of armor - I should start. For example: ab plate - start at top right. I can't seem to get decent screen grabs that show this type of detail, and I don't really want to follow the pics I took of the Tour Suit. Cheers J
  23. I think since you have gone to such trouble with accuracy on the armor, it would be a shame if the boots didn't quite cut it. Best just to get a pair of CaBoots or TKboots and be done with it. I know you like the DM's but I'm not sure you would even get Legion approval with them. That doesn't mean you can't troop with them if they are more comfortable.
