Thanks buddy! I am going to be referencing your awesome build thread quite a bit.

Well here it is, after a long wait I am finally going to start this build thread. As I had said in my merchandise posts, I am in the middle of a job change and a move to Ohio so don't expect rapid updates like BIDS' build thread. lol I was anxious to get this posted though so here we go! I will start with the classic, "box hug picture" that I envied for so long: ...and of course I immediately opened up the box and HAD to put on the helmet!! **NOTE - because my plans include going EIB/Centurion I asked Rob to leave off his decals that I will be replacing anyway with hand painted decals.** I have to say, Rob takes care of his parts. I love how meticulously packaged everything is: ...and here it all is minus the fabric belt, I would have already bought that but after reading Darth Aloha's build thread I was under the impression that one was included but that is not the case anymore. One thing I noticed while inspecting pieces is that is looks like the RT thigh ammo belt is already rounded off as required for Centurion.

So I had the kit sent to my workplace and of course I had to try on the helmet right away. Lol (I was soooo excited to finally put that helmet on. *sigh*) ...and so did my coworkers. Haha

I tried and tried to find some "catchy" number combination or one of larger significance but in the end just went with my birthday. lol 4/27/79

Looks like he jumped a little too far last time, he backed it up to "01/06/1970".

No joke...it now says "04/07/1970".

That's actually a pretty good point. I can't see a lot of "ideal" Stormtroopers gearing up as Vader without a whole lot of fake size added. I also couldn't pull off a Jawa.

I just received my email from Rob at RT, I'll get my tracking info tomorrow. It's a month or so behind schedule but finally...and holy cow I'm pumped.

*sigh* I hate to say it but I'm kind of getting frustrated, Rob has been great with communication but my promise date has been pushed back 5 times now. I know he is a busy guy who travels but ARGH! Lol Patience is NOT a virtue with me obviously. Good thing I'm on the Dark Side, Yoda would definitely not approve.
