  1. My shoulder straps make an 'X' in the front of my body, and I slide the Aker belt clip onto one section of it. It slides down until it hits the crossing other shoulder strap and stops. Rests right inside the chest hump in the armor, touching the plastic inside the left pec. Works fine.
  2. You've only been in the 501st like 6 months or something. Never fear, there will be plenty of equally awesome troops in the future for you.
  3. This was a fun troop. I was the Tusken Raider in the above pic.
  4. I can always pick myself out of the crowd. My helmet has no cheek tube stripes.
  5. He just added some more pics to his album! ....including this classic of Vader Force-choking all of us at once!
  6. I think he was referring to people trooping that particular event. There are a number of other old schoolers in MWG who also to this day troop with full unmodified FX costumes.
  7. There appears to be a 6th TK running rear security back there.
  8. Mine is Beans' old FX with a new ATA helmet (and handplates). I got the suit last summer and have upgraded the FX with adding all the little rivet details on the ab plates and codpiece, got Vaderdave Ab buttons, TKittel canvas belt, TK4702 metal detonator clips. I still haven't split the lower back/butt into 2 pieces yet, and she has the shoulder straps riveted onto the chest and back plates, so I can't get EIB level out of it, but I honestly just wanted a beater TK suit to go out and troop with! This is actually my 4th 501st costume, so didn't feel like uber accuracy on it Just wanted to go troop!.....all the FX armor pieces fit perfectly right out of the tub with zero trimming. How many TKs can say that? The photographer did post a few pics, and says more coming later!
  9. This was a really fun troop! All the different lighting sources inside that place are amazing for trooper photos.
  10. Totally excellent job, guys and gals! Stuff like this makes me proud of my friends in the Legion.
  11. From one new TK to one old TK friend of mine, love the new suit, Javier!
  12. It's a resin cast off a real scope. Came already mounted ESB style for my Snowtrooper, but he also included the other scope as well, so I could swap it into an ANH blaster sometime if I chose to.
  13. Here's my real demilled Sterling. Came to me as pictured for $315 shipped, and yes I'm pretty sure that's a nice deal, even though it had resin T-tracks instead of rubber ones.
