  1. I'm glad I could contribute a little...even if it was a what not to do.
  2. Congratulations on your TK ID!!! That was a fast build with great results!
  3. Awesome!!!
  4. My box was opened as well....only problem I had is half of the parts were missing upon arrival.
  5. I went big...5 small.
  6. I have thigh elastic straps that are looped on one end. I just wear a regular leather belt looped through and has worked fine for me do far.
  7. You are making great progress. Everything is looking really good. Keep up the good work!
  8. I had my first troop this month and walked a two mile parade in my TK Boots. I was very comfortable and had no problems.
  9. Jenny, I also had to sweep and vacuum ABS flakes, strips, and debris on a daily basis. No matter how hard I tried, it still got everywhere. My wife was so glad when I was "done" and cleaned up all my tools so she could have her living room back. Great work, Glen!
  10. This email exchange and story sounds so eerily similar to mine. Something seems fishy. I was refunded my purchase amount, but not shipping because they "had shipped" my replacement/missing pieces (still haven't received) and were out two shipping fees. Seems like they are still making money off non refunded shipping costs (especially to the US). Hmmmm....I should post my email exchange so you can see how similar they are. I'll see if I still have it.
  11. Please don't misunderstand. All the E-11 Doopydoo builds I've seen turned out pretty amazing looking. They make a really good kit, but once you've been burned (myself), that feeling tends to stay with you a while. Good luck!
  12. I didn't accommodate for boot tops with regards to the lower shins, so mine are slightly snug. Just a little FYI.
  13. Some people (myself included) have had shipping and communication issues with Doopydoos. I know nothing about Striker's kit. Just a little info.
  14. Thanks! Glad I could help in some way.
  15. Clinton...Tony....hell I'll answer to almost anything.
  16. Worked like a charm! Thanks, Glen!
  17. Looks fantastic, Clamps!!! Great job! Can you do the Tusken battle cry?
  18. Looking good!
  19. How do you add a link to your sig and name it something else (ie- ANH ARMOR BUILD that you click on to go to my build page)?
  20. I use Tapatalk for the iPhone and it is awesome and works like a charm!
  21. Ahhh, memories. It seems like it was just last month that I........oh, wait....
  22. Great ideas, guys! Thank you very much for the suggestions. As for the weathering, Stephen, it was my first troop with my shiny new armor. I feel compelled to keep my baby brand new looking, but I'm sure that feeling will pass in time. It was mainly scuff marks from my blaster or other objects rubbing against the armor. My holster left a stain as well on my left thigh.
  23. OK....I was cleaning my armor tonight after my first troop, and noticed a little split in the crotch area (probably from me attempting to sit in the back of a truck after our parade troop). Is there anything that can be done about it, or should I just not worry about it?
  24. Great suggestions, Paul! Thanks. Always some kind of tweaking to do.
