  1. So, here they are everyone, FIRST troops in the Walt TK at Toronto's Fan Expo. Canada's largest con and if I have my facts in the right ballpark, 3rd largest in North America. CTK 0727 CTK 0728
  2. Several added before now, just forgot to say so.. Adding Fan Expo 2014
  3. PS, before they were tossed back on a plane to their home planets, Eric and Ingrid shared a farewell breakfast of fantastically horrible service and questionably edible food with the Clamps family and the super awesome Andrea "Pickles" Loar! they were then STUFFED into a vehicle and off they go to the airport:
  4. Wow, I cannot believe it was here and now its over and done. So much time and effort was spent in planning our booth this year for the Canadian Garrison's 15th Anniversary and Fan Expo's 20th! Where to begin.....well, the Garrison put together a booth committee back in May and after 4 months of planning, prepping, building, printing...you name it, well, here is the result. I gotta say I am pretty F'ing proud of my Garrison, Rebel Legion and Droid Building brothers and sisters for putting together an amazing booth experience.
  5. Yeah. Just stay at home Eric, we'll suck it up and cover for ya
  6. We plan to throw that Biker to the Ewoks this weekend to use as a drum.
  7. For base armour ( buckets not included) There is RS x2, AP x2, SDS, AM, FX x2
  8. The Canadian Garrison was once again a proud partner of Fan Expo Canada PR team in advanced of the big show happening August 28-31st. Fan Expo was invited by the TSX (Toronto Stock Exchange) to "ring the bell" to open the market. Fan Expo reached out to the Canadian Garrison to help bring some Dark Side assistance to the activities. In attendance were 9 TKs, a Biker Scout, Boba Fett and the Dark Lord of Awesome, Darth Vader. Here is a YouTube video and a few photos of the activity taken by the Canadian Garrison PR master, Phil Fraboni
  9. And here is the little lady all fitted up. Only need to do a few comfort tweaks to a return edge or two.
  10. Interesting that today, same machine and browsers as original post, editing is fine. though my latency today has sucked basketballs.
  11. I think Luke may be a bad TK example of fit as it doesn't really fit him at all. Try and use the movie screen caps from his forum of non rebel TKs . As for the alignment of the ridges and bumps. Yeah. That's essentially the pattern
  12. It worked on Tapatalk. Though it asked me for the first time the reason for my edit.
  13. Will try Chrome in a few mins. Will also try Tapatalk. Editing attempt on this post.
  14. I have tried to Edit a few of my topics (troop and fire team troop logs) and when I hit the save button on the edit tool, I get the impression its saving but then it doesnt leave the screen and the changes are not implemented. I then hit the advanced edit tool and I get an error 404 permissions message. This happened to me using two different browsers (Firefox and Safari (both most current) on Mac OS 10.9.4) thoughts? cb
  15. It was a tough night. Sooooo much plastic cut from thighs and shins to fit skinny girls legs. But they fit well Her fit will be better than my sons. I wanna now rip apart his thighs and redo them.
  16. So, the arms have coverstrips on fronts, sized, marked and cut for the back side and awaiting coverstrip addition this evening. Legs front coverstrip glue is curing. tonight I will size, mark and cut those. tomorrow evening they will get rear coverstrip treatment.
  17. Well Eric. You'll just have to say "Like" when you see it in person in a couple weeks!!
  18. Been swamped lately. Here is latest progress. TD clips bent and installed. Here is mini-me ready for action. Currently glueing front coverstrips on daughters limbs. Then I can size the back and close it up for her. Likely full suit up for her by weekend I all goes to plan.
  19. This glue works great as well. LePage/Loctite brand depending in where you live. --------
  20. ken is coming up to Montreal CC. I cannot as work is too busy and I'll be traveling a bit.
  21. ahhh, we were down by Hôtel du Parlement and Centre des congrès de Quebec. We flew in visited three locations, ate lunch, then swung by ExpoCitè and then back to the airport to fly out. not a ton of spare time. I will possibly be back in town on the 16/17 of September, though that does;t seem very convenient a location for us to get together for a bière
