    The inner diameter of the doopydoos kit is 22mm. I bought some 1.6mm wire at a local DIY market and a wooden stick with 16mm diameter, drew some lines on the stick for orientation, clamped the wire on the top so that it holds still and wrapped the wire around several times. Came out pretty nice, actually.

    What Derrek said... just bend the lower end of the scope rail's front a little bit forward and secure the rail with a screw in the back. Very solid.

    The E-11 in the link you have posted is completely inaccurate and way to expensive.

    You could maybe attach the shoulder bells a little bit closer to the shoulder straps. Overall looking good though!

    The helmet looks fantastic. Is it made from Paul's 1.5mm ABS or the more glossy 2.0mm capped ABS?

    I have to agree, from what I can see on your pictures, the doopydoos kit is much cleaner. But I like what you have done with it so far. Assembling the doopydoos kit will be much more fun.

    Your paint job on the ab buttons looks really nice. Did you use any masking templates or did you paint it freely?

    I found it impossible to get machine screws with ribs around the head here in Germany... that's why I went with the smooth ones.

    I would also donate some money to support FISD hosting costs. It's an invaluable resource and has given me so much information that it is absolutely worth it.

    I agree with what Joey said. I also chose the 1.5mm version because of higher flexibility and comfort while trooping. If I had bought an armor for display only, I would have chosen the 2mm capped version for sure.

    I ordered my blaster at doopydoos several months ago. It took them some weeks to ship it to Germany, but when I had lost all my hope to get it it finally arrived. Sure, it is almost impossible to get any reaction from them, but I think in the end everyone who ordered from them got their blaster sooner or later.
