  4. This is my setup.....Made some brackets to hold the batteries and bolted to the back of the hovi mics. These fans are very small at only 10mm thick and at $3ea. ------------- A bit messy with the hot glue but holds strong.
  5. I'm using fans that are only 40x50x10mm and you just get your nose passed on my ata helmet. What size is your fan?
  6. Yep i bought one of those, it has hard rings inside and uncomfortable, also not high enough to cover you neck. Made my own with a zip and soft foam. --------
  7. The snaps are pressed on from behind. Meaning you drill a hole right through then push the back stud through the hole..then the male snap goes on the front and press it together.

  14. Looking good, can we see the rest of the code.
  15. I bought the helmet as it was in stock, then put on a 10 week waiting list for the armor but that soon became 14 weeks then 15 weeks now posted so hopefully should have it in the next 2 weeks. 17 week wait. some other armor suppliers are longer. You just have to wait your turn, in the mean time i built the helmet, blaster and ordered all the gear and made 2 jawa costume's waiting approval.
  16. I'm using this sound module which looks similar to that eBay one, very small and fits inside the e-11 barrel. http://www.4dsystems.com.au/prod.php?id=73
  17. skyone any more progress on this project, very interested in this.
  18. My ATA helmet is the same and I think there all like that.
  19. Hot glue gun would work and easy to pull off later .
  20. Hi Been working on a similar project with the arduino pro mini and the SOMO14d sound module. So far I have 7 leds in the barrel and 5 leds in the counter, a button on the trigger and one for reload on the side grip. Only got so far with the code then it starts to get complicated, but for now it flashes leds and plays sound.
  21. My ATA helmet is the same, Was going to ask the same question.
