  1. I got a big head, the back of my head is touching the plastic and my nose comes close to touching plastic. my bucket has minimal padding
  2. Hey Guys, I have two small PC fans, I placed them inside my helmet along the frown line and they worked great for air, but I found they trim my mustache and I bang my nose into them and even cut myself... so I need suggestions on locations that will still give me air but not hurt me... pictures would be great, do I go with one in the bottom but does this give me enough cool air since it is not near a hole. any help would be great thanks
  3. now you got to figure out how to and where to mount those big battery pods, the smaller enclosed 9 volt battery pods mount easier I think, but that is the fun of doing stuff, you figure it out on the fly.. and congrats on the start of your journey!
  4. Welcome to the boards, where in Canada do you live, (there are three garrisons now in Canada so depending where you live you may be in the Canadian Garrison, the Badlands Garrison or the Capital City Garrison. I myself live in Toronto. check out the Canadian Garrison's public forum that has lots of information. ------------
  5. I found my ATA bucket a bit wonky but my head is a bit wonky, I had to do a mod under one of the eye pieces so it would fit better with my once broken nose. but no one notices the wonkyness.
  6. are we talking the doopydoos full resin kit or the add-on kit for the hasbro E-11, I have the modded hasbro and it has survived falling over on a sidewalk, dropping onto my tile floor from sofa level, banged into a wall or too, and countless bouncing into people at a con.
  7. haha thats the best "bucket" ive seen yet lol...... shakes head
  8. it has taken me a few times but I can put it all on by myself, but there is almost always someone in our green room that will help, sometimes too many people. I found if I put the thighs first then the shins, I cannot get the lower torso on,.one way to do it is put the thighs on then step into the lower but keep it around your feet then put the shins on and then raise the torso. there are so many ways to do it, just play around with it until you know what works for you. but the neck seal first is the best, I have forgotten a few times.
  9. well partial kit, would have to pick and choose what parts to use and modify
  10. it is a very cool looking gun, with a scope and a E11 doopy doos kit it would look really cool, I would love to have one for my wall.
  11. I am currently using clips from the back of a remote used to open an overhead garage door, I had to bend them a lot and am not completely happy with them since my TD can be pulled off my belt too easily but I will change this as soon as I can
  12. Happy Trimming, I am quite pleased with my ATA bucket
  13. status change please http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=3884&costumeID=124
  14. thats cool and good advice, will keep it in mind for further use.
  15. exactly what do you use the magnets for, I have heard of using them for some parts of armor and making binders of course.
  16. I have a pull along duffle bag, I have had it for about 20 years and it works fine and fits all my armor, I "clam shell" it. basically lower torso armor fits inside the upper torso armor, then I stick the thermal det in one of the lower arm pieces and they go in the upper arm pieces, they in turn go into the lower leg pieces that go into the upper leg pieces, then those go inside the upper & lower torso armor with the E11 between them, then I put that in the bag, I have enough room at the end to put both boots (one facing up, one facing down) and then cover the boots with the shoulder bells, the belt comes apart in two pieces (canvas belt and ammo belt) and go in on either side of the armor. when I get home the E-11 goes on my gun rack with my other prop guns over my TV in my living room.
  17. I for one cannot have one, I have gone into shock and my heart rate rose and I became very sick, so did my mother, she was close to having a stroke due to a flu shot, The Doctor advised both of us not to have one again, but this is not common among people who get the shot, I would also add to be careful when touching your mouth and or nose when out in public spaces like a bus, street car, subway car, door handles. also when you sneeze use your elbow not your hands to cover. this will also cut down the infection from coming from you.
  18. yeah the first one is an optical illusion, you have to stare really hard and suddenly a Stormtrooper appears, the same cannot be said for the second picture.... I dont know anything positive I could say about it except it might have been fun when I was a kid
  19. thanks for the explanation, it helps a lot.
