  1. Mine so far was being on stage with Weird Al!!
  2. Looks very nice!! Ingrid will be excited to have another new Lady EI to converse with!! Good Luck Mindy!
  3. Ok, just wanted to make sure, you were talking like a vet, was going to suggest you requesting 501st access. You'll be one soon! Until then, good luck with your projects and keep the questions coming.
  4. Look at some of the Doopy, full resin builds, that rail comes off pretty easy. Are you a member of the 501st yet?
  5. Try this section: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/44-electronics-for-helmets-blasters/ Lots of different electronics discussions there.
  6. Looking good so far!!
  7. What was the temperature when you cured it? If it was chilly, it may slow the cure time. You may try 48 hrs...couldn't hurt.
  8. Troopbay sells a neck wallet to store stuff under your chestpiece, hard to get to though. I have a spanish style pouch I use with my HWT for cards, I use it with my TK in non cannon events too. Kids love to get a Stormtrooper card!
  9. I can dance up and down stairs but pay for it with armor bites behind my knees. Push ups are out, no bike riding, can't bobsled, swimming can be a challenge, Basketball is next to impossible, Yoga, don't get me started about yoga... Of course using the restroom is a pain. Also, remember to watch out for Deathstar controlroom doors...
  10. Just take your time, we will wait.
  11. Have fun with it!!
  12. I just gives you a warm feeling inside!
  13. Looks Great!! You may try putting some foam at the top, front of your shim to keep the sniper plate away from the thigh, it also will help to keep them from rotating while trooping.
  14. Congrats Trooper!! Welcome to the Centurion Club!!
  15. Congrats Jim!! Great to have another EI in the Garrison!!!
  16. If you are going to Troop a lot, it will add to the durability and life of your armor.
  17. I modified my gap with plactic I cut off an extra kidney plate and vecroed into place. Raw ABS will have the same result. Here is a link to my EIB submission:http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/18228-tk-4584-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status198am/ Good Luck!
  18. Ideally, use e6000 on the armor and the trim strips and I use a 2 part plastic epoxy for snap plates. E6000 is more fogiving and able to be taken apart if changes are needed.
  19. Yeah! That is a great example,
  20. I just noticed you haven't applied to HWT EIB, that has to be first, even though the armor is already approved.
  21. Looks like a great build! One thing that jumps out at me is that the CRL calls for lite to medium battle weathering on the entire area of the armor, not as much as a Sandtrooper but not clean. Take a look at my submission thread. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20031-tktd-4584-requesting-hwt-centurion-status40fxata/ Good luck Trooper!!
  22. Lot's of luck! Remember to take your time, measure twice and cut once. It is very hard to uncut.
  23. We'll keep the light on for you!
