  1. Yours is fine! It's the CAP amor thats upside down. CAP armor has no notch.
  2. You can tell it's upside down buy this. The line should be vertical, not slanted forward.
  3. No, The piece is simply needs to be turned the other way.
  4. I was referring to the CAP armor.
  5. There's a 24 hour flu going around, you may have to leave work early..
  6. The kidney piece is upside down, thats why the edge is leaning forward.
  7. Try amazon or ebay, trooper bay.
  8. Don't ever buy fiberglass armor, its near the bottom of the armor spectrum.
  9. Save your money, the mic speakers are to small to be effective. The iComm works pretty good. If you can budget it , the Romfx is great.
  10. When you get to the ab piece, the center button panel will have to be glued to a scrap piece of plastic to look right. Just giving you a heads up for down the line.
  11. The biceps are fine. If you look at some photo references, the originals didn't really have a return on the bottom and the tops had a small return in the armpit area. The biceps will likely be tucked under the bells so there shouldn't be a problem.
  12. I still use 12v fan with a 9v battery on short hot troops. I have recently been using the 5v fan with 2x 2AA holders, that way you can put one battery pack in each cheek tube and you won't even notice its there. Plus they last longer and much cheaper than a 9v battery.
  13. Trooperbay sells stencils for painting the details. These are a godsend for us lacking painting skills.
  14. You could trim the chin a wee bit more. gallery_12157_59_5417.jpg
  15. Glue the bridges on last after you have test fit your armor.
  16. Nice armor! Will you be connecting your biceps to the forearms in the near future?
  17. Snap plates and elastic straps would be ideal. Velcro should work.
  18. Either should be fine.
  19. No worries, just upload your photo's to photo bucket and post the img code into the post.
  20. Yes you can, please post a pic so we can see how the helmet put together.
  21. Yeah, the tube stripes can be troublesome. There was some concern, since the helmet is painted white. I was going to try the method of painting the tube stripes white first then the blue, but the paint no longer matched the helmet. Has your helmet chipped anywhere yet. I got a small one along the brow just above the ear. I plan to troop this helmet, so well see how it holds up.
  22. Just use a some dikes and snip off the extra.
