  1. OHMYGOODNESS! So AWESOME!
  2. http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=13753 TK9496 requesting admission to the Ever Victorious Galactic Empire, Sir!
  3. I found that out too... had to keep taking off my bucket - then finally went with no fans. James, I like what you did with your bucket. I need to get a mic, too. Nice alteration on your armor, btw.
  4. Thanks, Julie!
  5. Ahhh, thanks guys!
  6. Looks awesome, Andy! I think you sculpted the armor quite nicely!
  7. TK9496 says "Hello" to all my little friends. I'm approved and need to get better pictures. But, 1st I better start working so I can pay for all my TK related fun. Just wanted to share my joy. YIPEEEEEEE!!!
  8. The BIG BOSS of my building needed the TK as his right hand man. And I'm the MAN! YES!!!! Pardon my sillyness... THEY don't let me out much... does it show?
  9. For my 1st outing (at my workplace) seems like they were all disappointed that I didn't have a voice changer. Geez, they sure are picky. Course, nobody asked where my Thermal Detonator was, and where the heck was my E-11???!!!
  10. Hey Eric, Glad you had a good time and were able to keep your boots on. Boots and Cod pieces should be worn at all times. The customs are interesting over on your side. We sometimes take shoes off, but it seems more half and half where I am. It's nice if people ask 1st, but they don't always. That stinks that your pictures didn't turn out. Post the pics from the other party-goers!! So all night long you were grabbing your cod piece, then just took it off, but the hostess was more concerned by your boots? Very interesting... I think all those people who were pushing on your armor had dirty fingers. You might need a wet-ones dispenser on your ammo belt to take care of that. I got to wear my armor for the 1st time (out in public) at work today. [ I think I won the costume contest, IMHO ] I had strangers tapping me - anywhere they could reach. Where's HR when you need them?!!! I didn't get any of your comments. Mostly people said "where did you get that?" One of my 5 bosses asked if armor can get rented out. I had to 'splain it to him in a nice way, instead of saying HELL NO, like I wanted to. So it sounds like you're a legend in your town - as you should be! Also, I think all dudes [around 40-ish] must love the robot. My hubby says it works for every song, and then demonstrates. Mostly he does this to embarrass our teenager. I have my teenager's g-friends try on my helmet. I love parent-pressure! They always do what you say in the 1st week. [The g-friends seem to only last 2-3 weeks.... ] I wonder if it's the crazy parents that scare them away??? Nawwww! Get us some pictures of that double white robot! ASAP!!!
  11. You two look great! The missus looks like she's a StarWars fan with her pretty smile. That's a big dog! I think there are several canvas belt sellers. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=10293 + http://trooperbay.com/ I don't know about the plastic part. though. Thermal Det: http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=12084 I think there might be more sellers, so I don't want to leave anybody out. I just was checking the Ongoing Sales & Project Orders Good luck - Happy Halloween!
  12. Hi J, That will be my plan tomorrow when I take my armor to work. I'm only putting it on to get pictures and judged, then taking it off asap. It will be my first time wearing it outside of my house. I already know my right knee battery is too low, but I already glued/riveted it on. I'm undecided on how to fix it. I really don't want to take it all the way off and move it up. I'll probably end up cutting off more of the "rounded corner." I hope it doesn't make it look bad. Thanks for the advice on the 1st troop. You have good info here! Jenny
  13. Yea! I like seeing everybody's pictures. I'm going to show my armor at work - in hopes of winning a silly prize for me and my co-workers in my dept. I bet I find out where all my armor bites are. The "prize" is we will get to wear jeans for two weeks. Too bad it isn't food or money. Oh well, we take what we can get and are happy to have a job.
  14. Ummm, it looks like your cat wants to KILL you... Might want to take that hat off of him. His name isn't "Mr. Bigglesworth" by any chance? Just wondering.
  15. Anybody go to a Halloween party last night? I did, but had to leave at 10pm so I could make it to work today. Just wondering what's been going on over this weekend + Monday for everybody. Hope you all have [had] fun! Imhotep and Anck Su Namun This is my hubby. He's a former cop. He's assuming the position. My mask I made... Jello shots... I made Anck-Su-Namin for DragonCon 2 years ago.
  16. I bet ALL of our girlie troopers have hidden girlie-solutions in their armor. We're like that. I bet I'm not the first, but if i am, I want a special certificate for that!!! haaa haaaaa
  17. was feeling way too manly - so had to be a little girly. Now I really want to look into the Jes Gistang build. She's cool!
  18. Sometimes you just gotta cough up the extra dough. It's the little things in life that make it worth living. Thanks for the encouragement. I was really wanting Mighty Tank's garters - Buuuut I didn't plan very well, and needed a holder before Halloween. I still might ended up getting a set from him. I'll be sure to ask for his very best lace!
  19. My shoulders were floppy, so I got some help. You don't want floppy shoulder bells.
  20. Look at you, looking all AWESOME!!! Very NICE, Dude!
  21. We'll have to get us some 501st approved hair nets!!! I've accidentally gotten my hair stuck in the hair dryer motor... very stinky. That wouldn't be good in a helmet. UPDATE for today: Worked on a corset type binding system for my belly/back piece. It's still drying from being E-6000'ed. I'll get pics tomorrow after adding leather cord (left over from another costume.) Worked on thigh garter system, but don't recommend this for dudes. [i'm not judging, though... do whatever you want, it's all good!] I E-6000'ed the plastic holder in the thighs. [That's the part that holds up yer nylons.} It might not work after my 1st troop, but thought I'd try it.
