  1. I agree with other on the tin snips. They will work but might be unwieldy for precision cuts. Score and snap with save you some sore hands. Measure twice, cut once.
  2. Welcome aboard Trooper!
  3. PowerBI, or PBI is a Microsoft product. It is for managing data for reporting/publication/visualization. I am far from an expert, but I do use it in my job. It is a very robust reporting tool and mastering it is great for the resume, IMO. BTW, I am not in business. I work at a University and we use it for research data analysis, reporting, visualization, etc.
  4. Welcome aboard Sam! Good luck on your HWT journey. You have come to a great place for help and support.
  5. I was also one of the guys who waited for armor. Welcome aboard!
  6. Welcome aboard Trooper!
  7. I use nomex flight gloves that I get off Ebay. A lot of other TKs in my garrison do, too.
  8. Hey Scott! Many of us suffered through the wait of the Anovos armor. I am glad to hear you are finding time to start building. We are here to help so I look forward to seeing progress on your build.
  9. Very nice work. Your armor is looking great!
  10. Welcome aboard Mark!
  11. Welcome aboard James!
  12. Welcome aboard Dan! We are here to help.
  13. Hey Ryan, I am originally from Kentucky, but I live in Louisiana now. I come back up a lot because I have a lot of friends and family up there. So, I am not the craftiest guy either. I bought a kit and with a lot of guidance I got here, I became a Centurion TK and have been trooping for about eight years now. It feels like a huge step and can be intimidating. However, once you do that first troop, the work is paid off and you are hooked. You got this! Welcome aboard!
  14. I purchased and built my Stormtrooper with no local help at all. I got good advise here and did my research. I have trooped over 80 times with that armor and I plan to do 80 more (at least). At the same time, I help folks who are not Legion members, all the time. There is no rule against it and if there were, I would be a repeat offender. Nobody says its easy, but you will be glad you put in there work.
  15. Hey Jake! I grew up in Kentucky, just outside Louisville. I lived there until I was about 23 or 24 and now I live in New Orleans. Welcome aboard and if we can help you, reach out.

  17. Welcome aboard trooper!
  18. Welcome aboard Trooper!
  19. Your TK is looking fantastic. Keep up the good work.
  20. I cannot offer much info on WTF because I have only ordered a few parts from him. I have been trooping in a self-built and reinforced Anovos TK since 2016. I do not find it yellowing much, but I store mine out of sunlight and polish it a few times a year. I ordered a belt plate from WTF to replace my cracked up Anovos part and it is definitely a thicker/stronger ABS plastic. I would likely go with WTF before buying another Anovos/Denuo Novo kit. Good luck!
  21. Welcome aboard Trooper!
  22. Welcome aboard future trooper!
  23. When I "finished" my TK kit, i continued to make adjustments for weeks afterward. Finding pinch points or rubs as you move around in the newly built suit is common, so keep that in mind.
