Finished the thighs yesterday and started the helmet tonight....slowly getting there....... Also...bought an AP helmet kit so this will be my display helmet, will still paint it TK Commander though...

Ran out of washers so I doubled the plastic, made the whole a tight fit and used a bit longer rivet so good coverage, not worried too much. If it comes lose will drill it out and redo with washers.....

Goop is available at most Walmarts..also, you might be able to get white ABS glue at a plumbing store.

Not identical...outside right and outside left have "strip" at the back that over laps the inside plate. I can take a pic tonight for reference......

First test fit....I just let the thighs sit on my legs....and list of to do's To Do: 1. refit thighs...started tonight after test fit 2. make thigh garter 3. attach drop boxes 4. replace random velcro with snaps 5. Helmet construction 6. paint TKC scheme I am sure there is more but I am tired......

Finished the shins.....

When I took off the strips I had to cut the return area at the knee....here is the fix so far. I took and added abs strops to build up to the level with the rest of the return for the shin/calves. Then I mixed up some ABS Goo...just waiting for it to cure over night then will sand it down tomorrow. Once the return is fixed I will add the front strips at 25mm....

Maybe I will hear something from them as well them since I did their pre-order process....

Seriously, the more I read the less I feel that I can trust some of the "experts" like Gino that seem to be a lot of talk with little back up. Maybe this is some of the reason that there seems to be 2 or 3 camps on in the prop community, the one like this that is open to civil discussion as long as you can back up your arguments, and the ones that expect everyone to believe and conform to their point of view because they have been creating and collecting since they were in Pampers, and if you challenge their point or the history you get blasted, put down or in Brian Muir's case banned. Of course my Grampa used to say....If you can dazzle them with brilliance, bluff them with Bulls***.

Shin fix has started....I had to keep the width at about 40mm after doing more test fittings today...used the E600, just waiting till tomorrow for it to cure...will then sand down the fronts.....Starting to sew the canvas belt tonight...

I would be willing to lend my copy out, then have it passed along to those here that want to watch it....maybe I send it, you get it, have it for a week pass it along...when you get add a piece of swag as a "lending" fee to the package, maybe a card, patch, etc, then when everyone that wants to watch it has had it it could come back to me with with acquired "fees".......anyone up for it???
