Dan Laws old work for TE should be: ANH screen used Brian R cast helmet/whit Dave M ear caps, and modify ROTJ/Tour suit body armor parts to the ANH TE line age suit we know of today. Dan Laws new work should be: A 3D scan of the screen used ANH Dave M helmet, and 1 gen. cast of the Dave M ear caps. All new body armor parts made up, based from he´s old work, and the screen used ANH LFL archive ref pic cd made by TE. So the new body armor it should be all fan sculpt, as a new ANH suit on the street asap. (i have been in contact whit Dan since 2007, and talk about he´s new upcoming ANH storm/sandtrooper project. He work alone, and therefor he´s work is slow. He answer he mails alone too, so the updates are low. Last update is... he will make 10 of he´s new DL ANH suits before 2010. (as far as i know he take no orders right now, but only finish the ones from the order list) He have made the helmet, and all body parts. Minus the belly, and but. He´s working on the belly right now, and from there he only need to make the but, and it should be a easy part he said) Cheers

PhewwWWW its a hard one, in a way i have promise my self not to talk more about this issue, because it kills the fun in this great hobby. I guess only LFL have the rights to there suits, in this case storm/sandtrooper suits/helmets/body parts. But just one screen used helmet, cost more then most of the poole on earth can afford. So our childhood dream stops there <_< . So when TE buy screen used ANH helmets + ROTJ suit. Sells copies/recast of it to us all as full ROTJ suits, and modify ANH full suits. I must say go for it, and thanks to the man . And i guess only TE back then got the rights to do if for us all, because he buy the screen used stuff. Later he sell the molds to TE2, so i guess only TE2 got the rights to the TE/ANH mold suits. (i´m not 100% sure what happen whit the GF issue back then, but i think he got a green light from TE to modify he´s ROTJ suit to a ANH suit. GF and TE deal fade out, not sure good or bad. And GF sold he´s molds to AP, there modify them more ANH accurate again. There have been some talk of a TE face plate recast, but i´m not sure. And not sure if GF/AP, it a so called lawful/not a recast suit to buy, but i think its a ok suit to buy/support i guess) I also thinks its lawful to use your own eyes/hands, like TM have done it for us all over the last 8 years or so. And now sell a super ANH accurate storm/sandtrooper suit for us all. I guess the upcoming Dan Laws storm/sandtrooper suits will be lawful/not a recast too (when they comes that is) Because he´s new suit/work is based on a screen used 3D scan helmet, and new body part molds made up from the ground. Based on the TE LFL archive ANH suit cd around 200 shots, and Dan Laws old TE mold work.... or something. WOW!!! Thanks for the compare shots, i can´t wait for mine I have order two pairs US size 11, i normal are a sneakers size 10,5. But trooper boots are more pointy then sneakers, so 11 all ways fit me perfect. I can see they got to the CA post office the 7 days ago, and went out to Denmark 3 days ago. So i guess i will have them soon too

One of the best TE collections i have seen Scott. Love them all. You also have the Dan Laws helmet right. Maybe you could show us a few more compare shots, between the DL vs. TE style of helmets. The size and shape seems a bit different on the DL/Dave M 3D scan vs. TE/Brian R cast. Cheers bro

Freaking cool accurate armor, the best ROTJ trooper suit i have seen so far. Even i´m more a ANH TK/TD stunt trooper fan, this suits make me wanna join the ROTJ ride too. Thanks for the pictures

Thanks for your back up bro´s. I´m very happy for your support, and have been working to be among the best sandtroopers for all most 10 years now. So post like yours, make me happy to hear i´m on the right track. I have got: GF, AP as TK´s. But: GF, AP, TM, TE2 as TD´s. Now i´m waiting for my new ANH Dan Laws TK, and TD suits to come. I will then make me a TK, and search for FISD deployment. It have been some time, since i own a TK suit (now i only have my TE2/TD). So i can´t wait to build, my new coming ANH DL TK suit asap. I just dirt my helmet all over, and then clean it down here and there again. I don´t clean off the teeth 100%, i guess its just because its harder to see the weathering on the grey. Cheers

Here a few weathering pics: 1. I will not use all the colours in the woodland brand set. I have mix two browns my self, from a older kit. Its the two last ones to the right. I only used 4 colours, and its the 4 tones from the right. I will used a cut up t-shirt, a kitchen cloth, a bucket of wather, and thats it: 2. I add the second darkest of the two browns i have made, to make the details i want in the suit: 3. Then i will add the sand tone, in there. Just beside the brown one: 4. Then the yellow a like, not too much. Because it can quick turn too yellow a like: 4. I then take the bucket of wather, the kitchen cloth. Touch it here and there, where i have add the weathering: And here you see the suit, after 5 hours work: I have not add the hair spray on yet, but i will today. It will give the suit a more shine/gloss a like look in the end. Hope you like him. Cheers troops

Small update: This time i went for the look sir droids look. whit the 15 stripes on the right, and 16 on the left. And no jump over the 10 hole mouth. AAaaand here you go. I have a canvas belt on my way from FBJ, when i can add it on the suit. He will hit a sandstorm, and ready for trooping. New pics up asap. Troop on

Thanks bro Yeah i did the stripes like that. I Denmark our spray paint is not strong enough for trooping. So i will not paint it. Just polish it a bit up whit Novus and weathering it, and then give it a good hair spray job like last time. Here is a few shots of my last TE2: If i do a TE2 TK next time, i might just give it a spray lacquer job... it will gloss it up too, but not come off like paint do. Cheers
