Thanks for your reply Paul. I´m all good, and wanna say thanks for your time to reply. Here in the end, i like to be friends whit every one, and belief i am. This is just a hobby, adult people dress up in 70/80´movie picture props. I love the hobby and will never stop, trying to get my suits as good/accurate as i can. So i just like to know, if i use good money and time on a new suits. If its good, or not... So far my armor buy is: GF, AP, TM, TE2 (and i´m waiting for 4 Dan Laws TK/TD suits). I think the CAP-WEST/ATA looks pretty cool, and to a very fair price. So i just wanna hear if its a ok suit to buy, support, deploy in, make assemble topics pic off etc. I guess the issue, are so sensitive because of: 1. Makers are getting money out of it, makers, and recasters. 2. Politics, what do you belief in, what do you support, what story´s have you heard. 3. Friendship, where do you come from, who to support/like. 4. Time used on molds, like the TM (lets hope he´s suit never!!! get recast). Peace out, and troop on

As far as i know, TE never approve the CAP suit...

I have been a member in the 501st for 10 years. My costume hobby are only the ANH storm/sandtroopers, SO I JOIN ALL THE FORUMS THERE HAVE WISDOM ABOUT ANH/TKTD. Why... well to study, look read and learn as much as i can about the TK/TD PERIOD! There might be some recasters on DIY, but there are also some very talent dudes over there. There really know there stuff. Many of the DIY topic have extreme high quality, even for me after 10 years on the block. I still learn new stuff on DIY, about the ANH TK/TD. SO YES! i join a forum all over, as long as it have some thing to do whit my hobby. I don´t see its a crime, just because i, and other 501st members, are members of a forum to study. Come on, we do not recast ANY THING! We are there to study, to learn, just as we are here. I´m tired of this talk... AAAaaaaahhh

They are ABS, i think they are 60 gauge/1,5mm or something (DL talk about different gauges, on the suit)

Thanks bro. I´m just happy, i could show something useful over time. Now i can learn something from you . Do you also have the TM helmet. I´m thinking of getting a full ABS TD suit soon, the TM body armor might be the most ANH accurate out there. And he´s upgrade helmet, looks spot on too. A freaking A+ ANH suit. Cheers mate

Copy that. Its a jungle out there . I have been in contact whit DL since 2007. He´s working on he´s new ANH TK/TD suit, made from scratch + 3D scan screen used ANH helmet. I payed him late 2008 for both TK/TD suits, there have been delays. But last update from DL, is that they shall be done before 2010. I really hope so, i can´t wait to get them home asap. Cheers

I hear you all the way, to me its also a bit crazy. My armor list is so far: GF, AP, TE2, TM. I never understand the line either 100%, what is lawful, and what is not. The ATA lawful aprovel etc. Again lets keep the topic friendly

Hi gang. I´m not here to start a A bomb. I just wanna ask a question : ATA is a cast of the CAP suit, and the 501st FISD have approve the ATA suit. And therefor see the ATA, as a lawful suit to buy right. Scootch have buy the CAP molds from CAP, and have therefor the rights to the CAP suits now, and under the name CAP-WEST. Scootch said the 501st FISD have approve he´s suit too, as he got the molds now. So i guess the CAP-WEST is also a so called "lawful" suit to buy right, if the ATA is, there is a cast of now Scootch suit. The CAP/CAP-WEST are a TE cast. CAP have earlier used the SDS shoulders, but CAP-WEST used TE shoulders. Only the TK knee, should a TM TK knee. So beside the TK knee, the CAP-WEST should be a lawful suit to buy right right. Your paint job work on it are A+ too. A few questions: 1. Its made out of resin right. 2. Is it strong for trooping, or do we have to take extra care, so it don´t brake/crack while trooping etc. 3. Hi there. I order and pay for new storm and sandtrooper suits, from Dan Laws late 2008. Are there any body out there, there have a update or even better pictures of new body parts/helmet, molds. (i have only seen the: Helmet, chest, arms, shins. Dan should be working on the belly as the last part, then they should be ready to be pulled before 2010) The new ANH DL suit is made from a 3D scan, of the screen used ANH Dave M helmet. All the body parts are made from scratch, based from he´s old work/the TE suit, and the TE LFL ANH suit archive ref cd. Cheers
