  1. lol! just dont turn your back on it, those ewoks are sneaky
  2. good idea! i was actually thinking of making an e11 that could convert into a bfg, its like 2 guns in 1
  3. i just rigged up my playstation 3 to my pc. i managed to get some screen caps from the force unleashed, but i need to get some better shots before i can post them (the analog input on my pc is low quality)i think i better capture software may fix the issue
  4. i am finally starting to plan my first tk. i haven't got any parts yet but i have the incinerator trooper in mind. i was wondering what is a good "affordable" Symmetrical (idealized) helmet to start off with, i cant afford to get a whole kit at once so i plan on starting off with the helmet, any input would be appreciated oh im also 5'7" 150 lbs if that helps it doesn't necessarily need to be Symmetrical but for a video game based trooper i think it would look better, that is until i get me a TM (after i graduate electrician school )
  5. hi. i was thinking of making an incinerator trooper when i eventually get myself some armor. i really want to make a FULLY functional flamethrower for my build. i have started the basic assembly but i drew this for reference it is drawn from memory from the game so it is not 100% accurate. but my real thrower will be some reference anyway i will post up some pics as the build progresses if you want
  6. ya its happening to me now... it worked last week i cant seem to access any of the other portal sites that i haven't logged into i just get this on a blank page Index of / Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.7a Phusion_Passenger/2.2.11 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at passport.clonetroopers.net Port 80
  7. i am almost positive it is the image hosting site you are using, i tried inserting the codes from glowflow and i get the error message. put your pics on photobucket or another reputable image site and you shouldn't have that issue
  8. its finally done i just need to add pics of the hard-shell case with imperial logo
  9. i fixed the video as far as the weight i am guessing between 5-7 lbs it is very well balanced when holding, i weighed it on a bathroom scale and its read 5lbs as far as price goes i have no idea at this time, i had person interested but they didn't respond to my PM, and of course as with all my builds it has lifetime support and repair service and also it has a hard-shell case (will show when completed painting)
  10. this build is done it has light throughout the barrel and 10 blaster sounds to choose from. the main body is lightweight steel alloy and the stock is hand carved wood. also the sound pitch can be adjusted with a slider to get a wide array of sound options. i am going to sell or trade this off this weekend hopefully (my job got nuked) sound demo
  11. did you already paint it? just asking because i have a trick i used when model building. first i lightly sand the plastic with wet/dry 500 grit, then color the plastic with a permanent black marker (this kinda dyes the plastic underneath black) then coat with black or dark gray primer, finish off with metallic black rustolium (i just used the hammered metal texture on my dlt-19 and it is awesome) if you want further protection use a clear acrylic spray..but rustolium should protect pretty good
  12. i use mozilla firefox and can log in through the portal without issues. i just type the same USER NAME and FIRST NAME that i use on this site if you still cant log in i would try the helpdesk http://helpdesk.imperialhub.com/
  13. i remember doing this on my old diablo 2 clan forums back in the day i think i used a acp mod code like this http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/2285. this is older code so i am not sure if it will work nowdays .. i remeber it was pretty easy but that was years ago when i was a script kiddie
  14. i have been getting this problem as well.. i use the latest version of firefox. i find hitting the refresh button reloads the images.
  15. i believe he is referring to the thumbnails on the main index page i didn't even notice it until quebectrooper pointed it out i think somthing like this
  16. lol !! i never really noticed that until you posted it.. but im sure it is that way for good reasons like server space, page load times, ect...
  17. well i gave him the saber this morning and that is all i have heard for over 3 hours!!! the thing talks in Japanese lol.. also you will notice a cat hiding on the kitchen table if you look closely.. the animals are safe so far, only the rebel scum spongebob has taken a beating
  18. i got my son this lightsaber from japan and now the mayhem begins.. the first casualty is spongebob square pants
  19. ya it also needs front sights and that little conical disk thingy and cocking lever
  20. this is a custom scratchbuilt fully functional dlt-19. it has lights throughout the barrel and 10 blaster sounds to choose from. the main body is lightweight steel alloy and the stock is hand carved wood. also the sound pitch/lights can be adjusted with a slider to get a wide array of sound options.also a working bi-pod and a custom hardshell case sound demo
  21. polarity can matter with some circuits but simply test by touching the 1/8 jack wires to the blaster speaker briefly when firing the blaster (you can use alligator clips) if there is no sound just reverse the wires by genral rule the center wire is + and the outer is -
  22. yea this works. just hook the 1/8th inch jack wires directly to the speakers +/- terminals of the gun (do not remove or bypass the original speaker)and you should be good to go. test at low volume first as gun output voltages can vary i tested this with a 20 watt amp and toy blaster for a 20 watt dlt19 project im working on. just remember all amps/guns are different so do this at your own risk
  23. hi, well from what i gather you want lights, programmable sound, and vibration right? first off building a sound recording circuit requires flash memory and where it is possible to make on a modular breadboard it would cost more and be less reliable than just buying a pre-assembled pcb or recording kit links to sound curcuit ----------- you can also find cheap toy laser guns that have star wars "like" sounds that have leds already wired, this method saves a lot of time/money and frustration second do not try to run the sound along with the vibration from the same power source. put two switches in your trigger or a switch that has multiple poles. here is a rough diagram of the circuit --------- if you need any more help send me a pm im always happy to help out
